    QUOTE (The Gooch @ Apr 3, 2010 -> 02:45 PM) Tony gets pretty insane on those clap pushups... Yeah, he does, those are sick. I don't think I will ever be able to do those...
  2. Got the new OSX installed, and iTunes wouldn't recognize the iPad. Had to re-install the latest version of iTunes, and it is setting up the iPad now. Finally.
  3. iPad is here....I didn't have a new enough OS version! Had to brave to lunatics at the store and get Snow Leopard. The store was very organized though, got in and out of there in a minute. Here goes the new install....
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 3, 2010 -> 10:41 AM) LMAO zenryan FTW Actually, Knightni already beat him to it...
  5. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 3, 2010 -> 08:49 AM) Why I won't buy an iPad (and think you shouldn't, either) Seriously?
  6. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 3, 2010 -> 12:37 AM) Well, if you base it solely on tonight's performance: .750 AVG, 1.500 OPS, 486 R, 324 SB/0 CS That would be one hell of a year alright...

    QUOTE (The Gooch @ Apr 2, 2010 -> 02:27 PM) Did my first Shoulders, tris, and chest workout today. It was pretty badass. Can't really do the one arm pushups though... I just do them on my knees... How funny is that Bill guy? You can tell he totally thinks Tony is a showoff...
  9. QUOTE (Tex @ Apr 2, 2010 -> 06:03 AM) I love teaching Three day weekend and 42 more work days until the big three month vacation . . . Enjoy the day, Tex. I am getting off in about 20 minutes. And I have almost as good of a set up as you do coming up. Starting in May, I will get 2 out of every 5 weeks off through the end of the year. Gotta love shift work.

    QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 06:57 PM) The scene with Bradley Cooper shooting out of the tank as it falls from the sky ruins it for me. It's amazing how ripped he is now. I remember when he was a skinny wimp in Alias.
  11. QUOTE (G&T @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 07:38 PM) You are going to be happy when tomorrow comes. link Hah..doh! It didn't even occur to me that that would be a joke. Not that I wanted one, but honestly, are there not dumber products put out every day? Good one though, I admit I thought it was totally real.
  12. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 07:23 PM) They are a family of lawyers who position themselves to offend the highest amount of people. In political science there is something called the median voter theory. The idea is that the politician who positions themselves closest to the median voter's policy preferences will win. These folks are doing the opposite. They triangulate political views to find the most offensive. Liberals don't like them, conservatives don't like them, Christians don't like them, etc. In this case I imagine they were represented by someone in the organization and I imagine they will be keeping the legal fees. I am under the impression that they hope that people assault them or infringe on their first amendment rights so that they can sue. Sounds like the American Nazi Party back in the late 60's
  13. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 06:35 PM) that... would... be... AWESOME! It's actually real... ThinkGeek

    For you guys that are drinking a lot of protein shakes and smoothies now that you are doing this program, I have to recommend this machine I just picked up off of amazon.com. It's manufactured by a company called Breville, which makes a lot of high-end small appliances such as blenders, juicers, panini makers, etc. I know a lot of you guys are in college still so you don't have the money to waste, but for you older guys who have some spare cash laying around from tax day or whatever, check this machine out. I bought mine refurbished, which actually seems brand new, to be honest. Breville Blender This thing has a smoothie function that is just absolutely marvelous. It can make soups and all sorts of other drinks as well, such as margaritas and granitas and the like. Mine came earlier this week and I am already in love with the thing. A very good tool if you're trying to watch your nutrition while doing an exercise program such as P90X.

    QUOTE (The Gooch @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 06:03 PM) I just wish it wasn't so damn long. I just do the first half. I don't do the balance postures. If you just do the vinyasa moves it's about 50 minutes long.

    Well, just got Yoga out of the way for the day. I actually like Yoga, with the exception of that damned Warrior 3. But it is always a pleasure watching Audra.
  17. QUOTE (Molto @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 03:10 PM) More importantly, I have to give a freaking speech as the best man for this guy. Could use some help. "Well, not only did the rufinol work, but she actually was willing to talk to him the next day..."

    QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 02:13 PM) I am now on day 21..since I had to have a short break. I have already dropped 10lbs and am feeling a lot stronger since starting P90X. I have a long way to go but I am starting to love this workout. Awesome work, Jester! Keep pressing play, brotha.
  19. QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 09:53 AM) in every photo i've seen, i think it comes with a cover much like that of a kindle. I don't think it does; I did order a case for it, which sort of doubles for a stand it appears. And in all the photos and videos I cannot seem to pick out any sort of case for it. But from the reviews I've read, it seems as though it is very comfortable to hold.
  20. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 1, 2010 -> 09:06 AM) If you cut me, liquid sarcasm would ooze out. What if we put you in a blender?
  21. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 11:06 PM) Oh, hell no. I'll retire before I put up with that... Who could blame you...
  22. And he's darn-near getting reassigned to WSI.
  23. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Mar 31, 2010 -> 10:34 PM) My go to ginger beer is Barritt's Bermuda Stone Ginger Beer, which is also contract produced in the states and is the traditional ginger beer used in a Dark 'N Stormy. Recently though, the shops that normally can get Barritt's for me have been getting the new Gosling's ginger beer instead. It's not quite as good imo, but it still makes a nice Dark 'N Stormy. In a pinch, I can use the economy Jamaican DG ginger beer, which is a universally available brand and is the one I grew up on. The DG "Old Jamaican" product is nice and spicy and great with a beef patty and coco bread, but makes for unbalanced cocktails that are a bit too hot I think. What I've tried of the Reed's line of ginger beers, but I can't get them with any regularity. Lots of others out there I haven't had a chance to try yet. All this talk about ginger beer is getting me off my duff to make a Rum Mule with some Gosling's ginger beer and new favorite Scarlet Ibis Trinidad rum. Legally, of course, you can't call the drink a Dark 'N Stormy if you're not using Gosling's Black Seal rum, so this one is a rum mule or maybe a Trinidad Mule. Results in a moent. . . Thanks for your help, Sir. I will see which of those I can get my hands on...
