This is why I just couldnt get hyped up for this kid. Even watching him pitch in college and all the talk about how great he is I had to temper any of my excitement. What good is it to have one of the fastest ,effecient, and powerful engines on a car when the wheel alignement is f***ed up.

I know the Twins seemingly have more talent. I know we get our asses kicked by them in head to head games. I know we have only had a great month stretch of baseball and the rest has been s***. I know our bullpen is a mess. I know our offense is so inconsistent that it makes your head want to explode. I know we need a left handed power bat and we failed to get one. I know we have proven we arent contenders whenever faced up against key moments in big games. I know the remaining schedule benefits the Twins. I know that most people including the Whitesox themselves doubt themselves to even make this a race towards the end. ...but for some reason I have this weird feeling in my gut that the Sox are going to somehow, some way pull this out even though it makes no sense. I am probably just a homer/idiot talking dumb. Baseball is just so weird sometimes and things workout to where you just scratch your head thinking how did we get here.

I for one am addicted to working overtime because I get payed way more when I do. I am not one of the salary people. And its great becasue I wind up making out with more than those that are salary sometimes with all the extra time that I get on the paycheck. My future wife doesnt like this however...

I listen to them everyday. Bernstein is one of the most intelligent guys on the radio (and he will let you know that much). Boers will have you believe he has this magical wisdom of sports knowledge that he has gained over his many years through his history of writing and earning his stripes through beat reporting and such. At one time I believe there was some great substance to what Terry had to say but it has dwindled into funny noises and arguments without facts to back them up. Most of the time he turns out to be wrong mind you. Within the past year I have seen many instances when a caller would challenge Terry on something he said and he had no answer but just re stating what he thinks is true. I get their show. I get the theme of the show. Terry really should be one of the awkward callers that the show has so Bernsy could belittle him and make fun of. You must have fallen for his comments that he makes with such conviction even though its complete bulls***.
