Lets let this die. Diaz did not show me much. Nor does any of our minor league Pitchers. They are mediorce at best or they have arm trouble. I am trying to follow this. So if Irish ripped on a player its Ok because he has 1000 posts? i think we as fans have the right to rip on anyone we want. Good or bad, it shows passion and it provides opinion. I want every player on the sox to do well. I do not like some of the players, nor do i feel compelled to hold my feeling down because its rude. In fact, what everyone has done to unload on this poster is the same thing the poster did to Diaz. In everyones defense of Diaz, they actually did the same thing to a poster. I guess its ok to do it to a poster but god forbid if its done to a sox player. Even if the sox player did not play well. Sounds liek a double standard. We all love this team, we are all passionate, but like everything else in life we need to improve.

Why will he be good

My personal opinion is he will get two more chances. There are things i do not like. First, doesn't appear to be a K man even though his numbers in the minors were ok. So, if your not fooling anyone or blowing anyone away, then the next best thing, is ground balls and Jam shots. Didn't see many of those either. Tough part of a fly ball pitcher is when the wind is blowing out, and it was not yesterday. Even when his outs were recorded they were on line outs, and outs that the Orioles made good contact. Too early to tell, if he is this type of pitcher, but if he is, then we could have some problems. I do not like fly ball pitchers. you can get burned in the long run.

I see him about once or twice per week. I will ask why he asks dum questions. I can tell you that he hates the cubs and loves the sox.

This whole conversation disturbs me. I have no idea what is happening at ballgames anymore. I am sorry this happened to cheat.I know this is not a popular thought, but it seems as if many of these altercations come on half price night. Although good for many on this board, getting into the park for $9 bucks or whatever tends to draw scumbags. s*** i see 20 year olds going through the trash for an empty can of pop cause there to cheap to buy a can. I am all for people getting a good price, but the CELL has a rep and there are people who will come just to cause trouble, especially knowing nobody goes to jail. Sell cheap ticekts get cheap patrons. Sorry guys. I realize this is unpopular with many. I bet this won't happen in the playoffs. They could not afford to get in.

lets just worry about ourselves. Last year Brantley said we would make the playoffs after we got Everett. We didn't even though we had a good team. I suppose everyone will change there mind once trrades are made. If we sweep the twins this weekend they will all be on our side. We worry too much. I listen to sports radio and we are worry warts. Sometimes our team looks bad like over the weekend, then yesterday happens and we are back in first.

Konerko has been in a two year slump because he is not very good. Lets not hang our hat on two years ago. Either something is wrong with this guy, or his wife/ fiancee last year has f***ed him up! As most of you know I wanted him gone last year, and I still want him gone. A pitcher would be nice in return. Furthermore lets hope the sox start drafting some infielders, ss, 2b and 1b. I think this is a glaring hole staring at us for the next few years, despite the heroics of Uribe.
