freaking a... come on PK! Stop sucking! Dont repeat 03 please... Vazquez also with another solid outing, but I would like to see him be able to go 7-8 innings. He starts out great, but just looks "okay" during the 5th and 6th innings. Not as bad as last year, but I'd like to see more improvement. Okay, lets go out, beat up some tigs, and get Danks his first MLB victory tomorrow... he should have at least 1.

My ideal trade (either during midseason or the offseason) for Crede would be to LAA for Erick Aybar and Dallas McPherson. Then, McPherson could be the back up 1B and kinda platoon with Fields at 3B. McPherson would also be the power lefty off the bench. There is no question that McPherson has the talent, but he has a more severe version of the same back problems Crede does. I think if he could get into good enough shape where he can get a good amount of time, he could be a very good situational player... but that timeframe is closing as he will be 28-29 within a year or so. And Aybar would obviously become our starting SS. Let Uribe walk in the offseason and have Cintron and Ozuna be Aybar's platoon partners at SS.

Lucy = stud... finally, we might actually have a bonafide catching spect!

MARK BUEHRLE HAS PITCHED A NO-HITTER!
BearSox replied to ShoeLessRob's topic in 2007 Season in Review
Also, I was recording today's game so I could watch lost at 9, but I thought about stopping the recording a couple of times before we knew Buehrle had a legit chance at it, but I didn't. Now, I get to tape the LIVE game to DVD tommorow! -
MARK BUEHRLE HAS PITCHED A NO-HITTER!

Just imagine if the umpire called Jerry Hairston safe rather than out, which he could have easily done so since it was such a bang-bang play... we would probably be cursing a loss right now! And nothing to take away from Buehrle, but the Rangers hitters really did help him out, especially late in the game. It seemed like they got a case of the White Sox, and tried to pull every pitch for a homer. If they were smart, they woulda have bunted a few times, and stepped out of the box to try and get Buehrle out of his rhythm. Also, no joke, I had a dream about going to todays game last night. It wasn't about Buehrle's no hitter, but it was kinda weird because I usually never remember my dreams, and it was some sort of strange dream where I got free tickets and got there in like VIP seats and stuff. -

MARK BUEHRLE HAS PITCHED A NO-HITTER!

Listen my children and you shall hear Of the no hitter of Mark Buehrle, On the eighteenth of April, in O-Seven; Hardly a man is now alive Who doesn't remembers that famous day and year. He said to his friend, "If the Rangers hit By land or sea from the town to-night, Hang a curveball aloft in the belfry arch Of the North Church tower as a signal light,-- One if by land, and two if by sea; And I on the opposite side will be, Ready to pitch and strike out the batters Through every Middlesex village and farm, For the country folk to be up and to defend." f-it... Im not going to edit the whole Paul Revere poem into the Buehrle no-no poem... tis too tough. -

How fitting... on the night of Paul Revere's ride, Buehrle throws a no-no! I must post in this glorious thread! No hitter biz-nitches! I take back everything bad I have said about Buehrle! -
I don't care... Sosa did absolutely nothing bad to us and we weren't even divison rivals.

QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 09:56 PM) To think of all the s*** you received these last several years when the issue of Walker was brought us. Especially with the dearly departed, JimH. Yeah, sort of reminds me of my crusade against our minor league system. I was continually criticized until the trades of Garcia and McCarthy, then people suddenly realized we needed young pitching to compensate for the lack of immediate talent. Not to mention the flaws of our "safe" draft philosophy. At least so far we are making the Rangers look foolish for that McCarthy trade...

can we get a club going? If so, sign me up.

Lucy >>>>> Molina, in just about every aspect of the game, except in Gustavo-ness.

Ive always had a strong dislike for Rongey... I liked the guy they had in 05, I forget his name though.

Hopefully... Nice new avy by the way. Kinda sad to see the ASU girls leave, but this one's just fine!

I dont care anymore... I just dont care...

*chick-click... BOOM!* For those of you who didn't pick that up, that was me blowing my brains all across the floor.

I suggested Sweeney or Owens, but any offensive option would be fine.
