  1. K.Brown pitches Thursday, so at least we'll miss him.
  2. Looks good, but was kinda hoping for Jimenez. I'll settle for Carlos though.
  3. Dude that was classic. Thanks.
  4. Hey Winning, Fri Nite, im sitting in the Bleachers...$6 Tickets!! I actually might have an extra couple left...let me know, would be glad to let you have them. Also, Im flying into SanDiego Thursday 4pm, So if anyone here in the San Diego Area Thursday Nite,,,,I'll be the Guy in teh SOX JERSEY causing a ruckus and doing the barscene there Thurs nite......lets Drink a Beer! ok I can let you know by wednesday then. As for Thursday, unless you wanna go gamblin, that's payday for me and I play blackjack on Thursdays.
  5. Update. Well the Senior VP just met with all of us, and confirmed with us that there will be no more layoffs this year. Might change come January 1, 2004, but at least I am safe the next 7 months. Besides, the people they let go were all on written warnings for attendance, performance, etc. WHEW!!!!
  6. ...as my company just laid off 7 agents in my department. The only good thing is I am the only one in my position as Systems Analyst, but they could easily let me go as well and have the Quality Assurance Manager do my job. If that happens, at least I'll get 2-3 months of severence pay. Would be kinda sweet to hang out at home for a good month before looking for work.
  7. That would suck, dude. I would LOVE to have a chance to rib Boog's punk azz after Loaiza dominates Schilling.
  8. I'll take Borchard. And btw, it's Colon today, not Garland....as per the Sun-Times: NO CHANGE: Manager Jerry Manuel decided not to make any changes with his rotation after Saturday's rainout, meaning Jon Garland will start Tuesday's series opener against Arizona. That leaves a marquee matchup for Wednesday, with Esteban Loaiza (8-2, 1.96 ERA) starting against Curt Schilling (4-3, 3.04), who had two comebackers hit off his pitching hand in his last start.
  9. Wish I could make it, fellas...but this is a rent payday coming up plus I have my 2-year old on weekends. Have fun, though.
  10. The next time we are in Cleveland is right before the all-star break, so a double header tomorrow would be the only thing that makes sense since no days off between games for the next time we are in Cleveland.
  11. Whew! Let's hope he's alright!
  12. Has he NOT done his job the past 2 weeks? Has he not done what this club has asked of him, whether it be closing or setting up? And he has kept his mouth shut. Hopefully he's waiting till we take over first, a big IF still....
  13. E-Lo gonna have at least 9 K's. Ugly has spoken. GO SOX!!!!
  14. The Boss? I'm going down?
  15. Too many with Maggs, and I gotta play major catch-up. I'll take JB.
  16. And because he's not a black "thug" like Ron Artest, I bet he won't get suspended.
  17. That is, if you are the one from espn. Glad to see you made the transition.
  18. It's a 4-game set, my friend. E-Lo goes tomorrow and will dominate his fellow mates, especially after reading what I read today. Only problem is he faces Lidle and out bats are still silent. Another 1-0 Sox loss I predict, with E-Lo getting robbed yet again.
  19. I agree. Maggs should bat third if Thomas is not starting or hurt. Lee bats cleanup until Konerko starts SOMETHING. Rios or Daubach or anyone else batting 3rd would be a mistake, and it shows.
  20. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-b...ov=ap&type=lgns Does anyone realize how much this would have improved our sorry azz team? Great speed and above average D...and who gets him? The freakin Tiggers? For spare change? Motha fukka KW! You lose again.
