Guys, this comic stip I saw today is hillarious. It's about a bunch of Rotoheads at a midseason meeting to discuss their teams up to this point. One sketch has them naming off busts for this year (Kolb, Beltran, Beltre, etc.). But the best one was an Alcoholics Anonymous type setting. A guy walks into the room and states, "Hello, my name is Joe....and I don't own Garland, Garcia, Buehrle, Contreras or any other ChiSox pitcher..." The other 3 guys sitting at a table reply with "Hi Joe!" The name of the group was something like OWDOAWSP, which stands for "Owners Who Don't Own Any White Sox Pitcher. Hillarious! If you have an extra $1.75 lying around, go to your nearest 7-11 and pick one up.

Anyone hear our two aces together on the Dan Patrick show today? I don't care too much for Patrick, but it's all I get at work. Anyways, all the questions he asked the two (the Kenny Rogers all-star deal, who should start the all-star game, all-star snubs) were answered in a "politically correct" boring way. They had Mark Tex on before them from the Rangers and he was helluva lot more entertaining. Where's the excitement, fellas? All signs point to the playoffs and you act like it's no big deal what's happening on the South Side of Chicago...

Yeah, I've been gone quite a while. The job I started once we moved to Phoenix really drains me, but it's worth it. Our new $25k swimming pool shows that much. It's a great day to be both a Sox and a Padres fan, especially the Sox. My kids bought me a miniature model of old Comiskey Park, just as I remembered it before it was torn down. Great father's day gift that was. Hope everyone is doing well. Peace. Ug

I'm moving to the Phoenix area in 2 weeks and taking a month off before I start work out there. Love to meet any of you that would go to see the Sox in Peoria, Scottsdale, Mesa (against the cubs), Phoenix or Tempe, as I will be hitting most of those games. I know Tucson's not that far, but why drive when you can practically walk?
