I watched something on Discovery (big surprise I was watching the Discovery channel, eh ) about female serial killers and that most of them use poison and it was generally on family members that they preyed. Very interesting show. They also talked to surviving family members about the killers and their lives.

I never got the impression that the 'news' is liberal or conservative. It's all about ratings and which stories and how you tell them will get you ratings. Which is probably why I stopped watching nightly news, CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, etc.

This industry (located in the US) is far from the only one that doesn't provide safety equipment for potentially deadly situations a job might cause. This is something that I know for a fact.
