It's terrible what she went through and the fact that she will have to 'relive' it again. But if our justice system works, he will get what's coming to him. At least this one is facing the music for what he did. Not all of them ever get this far in the judicial system, if the wheels of justice start at all.

What is worse is that there are many more cases of sex assualt/rape (child and adult), than any of us can imagine, that never get reported.

I've seen several rumors about Sean Hill going to Toronto and the Sens being interested in Francis, but that was it. Francis stated that he didn't want to leave either and he's a big fan favorite. Wouldn't be the first idiotic move the Canes have made this season.

Do you think anyone will try to pick up the Little Latvian? For not having played much in the last 3 months (or so - surgery, AA hockey), Irbe has done a decent job in his two games at the pro level this season.

I just read what happened to Mmoore and while I am sure he knew he was going down the next time the two teams played, I do think this type of retaliation deserves suspension and a hefty fine. It's one thing to hit hard but it is another to cause a man to be taken off the ice on a stretcher.

I don't have a problem with hockey fights for the most part. Especially when the team I am cheering for isn't doing so well. The best example of this is the AA hockey team I follow - we travel 250 miles to see them play the Toledo Storm, 300 miles to see them in Cincy and about 160 miles to see them play the Peoria Rivermen. Let me tell ya, the Cyclones have sucked ass all year due to their idiot owner - the arena owner bought out the team after a court battle last summer and has been doing everything in his power to put this team under. So when we go, we know there is very little chance to see them win, but some of those fights that happen in the last minute are the best - it's good to see some heart on a team like that.
