  1. Headed to Cleveland this weekend to catch Saturday/Sunday's games. Sitting in the upper deck Saturday and 7 rows behind the Sox dugout on Sunday. Can't wait! It'd be nice if we were a .500 team looking to go above by weekend's end...
  2. Bring on the sweep! The march to .500 rolls on!
  3. Turned on the radio broadcast in the 9th when I got home, this has been a great inning! I hope this is a sign of things to come in the 2nd half. Looks like Quentin had a nice day. f*** the Tigers! Let's go back to making them our b****.
  4. The more things change the more things stay the same. So nothing will change, but in response we will be better or worse in the second half. Because if things changed they'd stay the same, you see.
  5. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 9, 2011 -> 06:47 PM) f*** THE TWINS!!! f*** THE TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BEAT THE TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! f*** YEAH!
  7. For once I'm glad a game is on FOX... my liver needs a break. Being blacked out will prevent another black out. JUST WIN.
  8. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 8, 2011 -> 07:20 PM) Yankees rained out...makeup game in September. A lot of money was spent to see that game tonight, so I have to laugh. If he has two hits in the September game, will they technically be 2,999 and 3,000?
  9. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Jul 7, 2011 -> 06:58 PM) Sweet....everyone who voted gets a free 10 days of mlb.tv. 10. I never did get to see The Club, but I guess that was MLB Network. Did showtime do the Winter Classic one? If so that was really well done and I'd check this out. Should be easier to get a hold of since it is on Showtime and not MLB Network.
  11. QUOTE (BaseballNick @ Jul 4, 2011 -> 11:30 PM) Sox scouting Atlanta per Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe: Trading Q is one way to open a spot for Dayan, but a starter is not something we need. Unless we flipped another starter for something more important; but that'd still be 6 starters. And what would we be flipping for??
  12. ADAM DUNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved his at bats tonight.
  13. I hope they prove me wrong, but these picks made me chuckle.
  14. Being optimistic only worked when we were winning series. We need to win this series. It begins tonight.
  15. "For those of you just joining us..." "This has been a..." I agree Hawk, go on... "A bit of everything this evening." Well, ok. Yea.
  16. HEY GUYZ REMEMBER WHEN IT WAS 0-0?! Seriously though, this is a great baseball game in spite of itself...!!!
  17. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 11:13 PM) HOLY f***ING s***, DID THE WHITE SOX JUST COME BACK AND TIE A GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 9TH? Like baby, baby, baby OOOOOOOOOOOh!
  18. For the record, I was their in Washington last year, the White Sox have traditionally (lol 1 game) won the first game of the series against the Nats in 10 innings!
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 24, 2011 -> 11:05 PM) Welcome to the White Sox, Mark. Is this his first big moment as a Chisox? When he came to the plate I recalled him having a huge hit last year, walk-offish style (anyone?). And I thought to myself "it's time f***er, I got your card next to Lilli's" (in my ironic cards of shame in my Sox room) and then it happened. Surreal. This is why I watch the games. I always a few ticks behind those watching on TV due to internet delay, but man! I'm alone and just celebrated like I was at the bar.
