When the Cubs win 15-2, Im kinda scared of the Baseball Gods. Something must have gone seriously wrong in their minds...

I am one of the most sane individuals on here at this moment. That is a really scary thought. And I kinda wish we started with the perfection of 1-0 but I guess it wont kill us that we didnt. And after realizing how big the Cubs won today, it just goes to show that sometimes the baseball gods choose to leave the norm and display a very sick and twisted sense of humor...

Yeah, I forgot about Rowands catch, that was nice. And everyones giving Jiminez trouble. But they forget he saved two runs. It didnt help us win but it showed effort. And its our hitting that failed. If Buehrle got slammed, we might be scared. But it was our hitting. Offenses with this much firepower dont have these kinda of games too often. They will be fine...

I like really nice neat lists so thats what Im gonna do. Ill start with the pros just to sound positive... PROS -Pitching. Buehrle pitched well. He got hit kinda hard but he kept the Royals within reach. Gordon pitched ok. He gave up a hit to a good hitter and then didnt get much help from Sandy (not sure if the second pitch was a PB or WP but the first was definitely PB and that put Sweeney on third, so Gordon shouldnt really take all the blame). -Defense. Except for Valentins error, the D looked pretty good. Konerko dove and tagged out Berroa on that bunt. Then we had those two nice relays to gun those guys out at the plate. One of those started with Jiminez pouncing on a ground ball which stopped Harvey from scoring easily and got him thrown out instead. CONS -Hitting. Well, except for Frank, Maggs and Valentin (he hit two balls real hard) the hitting just stunk. I dont want to even count how many times I saw one of our guys go down swinging on something way out of the zone. And they didnt look like they were there. Sometimes they looked to be taking half swings. And we have a tendency to make nobodies look like Cy Young. But does anyone really think that our hitting (one of the leagues best offenses) is gonna do this all year? Not a snowballs chance in hell. Mental awareness. Hey, Carlos. Hey. Hey. Is anybody home? Pay attention, daggone it. Listen/look to the ump. If you dont hear him or see him, ask him what the count is. Dont look at the scoreboard. And when he says your out, realize you had your head stuck up your butt and go take a seat. But good job getting to those corner balls so quick. Hey, I thought since I was grilling ya I could congratulate ya on something... I dont really enjoy getting shut out on opening day, especially when Im watching on tv but we should all remember its just ONE game. Carlos and company will still be fine, theres no need to trade them. WE WILL BE FINE...

Go to Basics reader reviews. There are the smart people. Yeah, they cant spell but thats about the only thing the critics do better than the readers... And the critics are just one person. The Boston Phoenix doesnt neccesarily think its a bad movie. Only Peter Keough does. And Id like to credit Mr Keough with having the IQ of a five year old. Critics are so stupid...

Oh when you go to the crappy website I posted, it really is kinda crappy. Just hit reviews at the top of the page and then youll see the stupidity of modern critics...

Has anybody here seen this? This is an awesome movie. Everyone should go and see this movie, except if you dont like to think. No offense to you but if you dont like to think youre not going to enjoy this movie. But if you do youll love it. And if youve just seen the trailers, you have no idea what its about. You think you know what its about, but you dont know. And this movie tricks you. It makes you think you know it all, but then bam! You know nothing anymore. I also never really liked John Travolta, but this movie changed all that. Its a great return from the dead for him (he was kinda out for a while, or so it seems). And please dont judge whether or not youre going to see based on the critics. Crappy critic website Im boycotting this website. They routinely give crappy reviews (well, ok, they dont give the reviews, the critics do and they post em) to good movies and great reviews to bad movies. 12 negative reviews for Basic and 11 good reviews for the Hours? These people are on crack. Or maybe theyre just fat slobs who are so uneducated that it hurts to think. Geez, movie critics have gotten so stupid nowadays. They really piss me off... Alright sorry for the detour. But the point of the post is just see this movie, youll love it!

Why would any kid pay attention when we have a president who has proven that you can have a 2.0 average, have a booze habit, finance a small Colombian village with the blow he was snorting, get into Yale and then Harvard with piss poor grades, then run for and win the Presidency of the United States. Actually ldf, I live in a rich white neighborhood and most of the stoners Im referring to are rich and white. There are other stoners at my school but there are also plenty of stoners who come from rich families. They will survive yet unfortunately they are making stupid decisions and it will affect them later in life...
