Do you even know who Benedict Arnold was? He was a great and daring American general, but in the end he betrayed us. Thats why I used his example. Loaiza was a great pitcher but in the end he betrayed us. Dont care what yall think but I dont care if Loaizas back next year... OMG Roman.. I did need the laugh today. Comparing a traitor to Loaiza..? Like he lost on purpose..? Are you really this dense or just acting like it..? Hes not a traitor in that sense, but he did let us down, like the guy or not...

Loaiza, the greatest with a down time? How bout, the down with a down time in a great time? Look at him. His career ERA is 4.60... :puke

Damn straight.

Loaiza did great this year. Too bad the season is 162 games instead of 145...

Putting my hatred for him as a manager aside, just look at the move. Was it really that intelligent, just a brilliant move? Replacing a rookie with an even fresher rookie? f*** no, it was luck. And did it change the outcome of the game? No. Screw that. And what the hell is the fun in seeing the Yanks sweep some weak NL opponent? What a joke...

Thats not at all upsetting. I am not at all scared of the Royals. But then again, few people are scared of us...

It seems no one can win 20 for us. Ill bet Loaiza wins 20 tho. Hell be the worst 20 game winner ever. Failing us and then helping himself when it meant nothing. Loaiza can f*** off next year...

Without Loaiza, we wouldnt be here. And that would be a lot easier than being here and then blowing it. Loaiza carried us enough to get us into the race and then he let us down. Thats what I hate...

I didnt say youre wrong, and I didnt say he was wrong. But that doesnt mean I like this loss shoved in my face...

The only question I got right is the mirror one...

Maybe so. I really dunno...

I cant do it. If I start to respect Loaiza, everyone will call me a bandwagoner. And even if I did accept that, I still just dont like Loaiza...
-
Fine, Frank didnt do well at the end either, but he, unlike Loaiza, has led this offense for 13 years. Thats why I respect and love him but hate Loaiza... roman, I have no problem with your love for Frank, blind as it may be sometimes. I can certainly respect that. But your hatred of Loaiza reeks of immaturity and someone who doesn't know the game. Why not try listening to others on occasion and changing your initial opinions when situations merit? It's a grown up kind of thing to do. Well thank you for respecting that Rex. And if I change my opinion, Im a bandwagoner. I, sticking to my opinions from now on. Being an idiot is better than being a bandwagoner...

84 wins gets you nowhere. s***, we dont even get a good draft pick...

I really want a gun and Gleemans address. But then again, what the Yankees will do to the Twins in the playoffs is just about what Id do to Gleeman with that gun...

Let me explain something. Lets say were down 5-1 in the bottom of the ninth at Comiskey. We then score three runs and have the bases loaded with two outs and the final out is made. We lose 5-4. I hate that more than the 5-1 loss. In the 5-1 loss I was prepared to lose. But with the rally, it gets my hopes up and when they ultimately fail I f***in hate it. Without Loaiza, wed have been gone a long time agoand Id just be able to accept that it wasnt this year. But Loaiza singlehandedly gave us the ability for a rally and then he "made the final out". He didnt do that singlehandedly but he sure helped. And unlike Frank, whos been here 13 years to gain my utmost respect, Loaiza is just a one time wonder...

I dont blame them for giving up. They blew it. And as for the battle for second, it dont mean s***. This last series wont mean a thing...

What about 99? He did well that year but Im not sure he was MVP for the team. Id say it would have been Maggs. Id give Thomas the team MVP in 91-00 except for 98 and 99, then this year. 9/13 years aint bad...

Now now guys, do I need to defend Roman again.................. You dont need to defend me bmr. Look at this Loaiza f***. He sucked his entire career and finally does something right. Hes does well long enough to keep us in the race and when they finally put the pressure on and he explodes. With me bashing Buehrle, you guys atleast have the fact that he pitched well for us two years before. With Loaiza, you dont have any of that. He pitched well for 147 games. Unfortunately, we needed 162. And that said, half of you guys rip on Thomas. Thomas has done great for 13 years, this one included, yet he is so disrespected. Im just curious how everyone kisses Loaizas (a one year flukes) ass while hating on Thomas (a legend and future HOFer). Im gonna laugh when Loaiza goes 8-12 with a 5.50 ERA next year. And where are the other five guys who voted for Benedict Arnold?

Where was that when we needed it???
Soxplosion replied to Gene Honda Civic's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The only guys I want back are: Thomas Everett (no one understands how great a clubhouse guy Carl is) Gordon Marte Lee Colon Buehrle (hate him but we need him) Crede (hate him too but hes gonna be good) Garland (he gets one more f***in chance, its do or die time) -
Ive never seen a Sox win bring so much anger here. But I understand why...

Who is the general?

Joe was a cheater. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Its unforgivable...
