Yes! Awesome game! Frank got a ribbie, Loz shut down those punk rivals of ours and we picked up a game! YEAH!!!!!!!!

I dont really follow hockey but I just dont see how it gets any worse than Brock for Broglio. That is always my answer when someone asks what the worst trade ever was. The second leading SB king for some guy who did...wait, what the hell DID he do? And could someone explain. Who got ripped off in the Esposito trade and how did Hull lose all those goals? Im curious...

Amazing hsc, you have fully proved you have no life...

I dont have much time left to be online now, but Im starting this thread just so all posters can come up with possible trades. Id like them to be serious (help the Sox and help them, the ideal trade) but if you feel the need to come up with completely insane trades, go ahead. Ill participate on this thread when I get back...

Seavers career He was on the 69 Mets. And he went 33-28 with us from 84-86. He finished the 86 season with Boston and then retired. Guess I was wrong...
-
Mine too soxfan, mine too...
-
I think Seaver was in the 60s and 70s. Probably not in the last 20 years. I believe he was on those '69 Miracle Mets...

Nah, I didnt read the whole thread. I just thought you were being serious and, even tho Im a Colon fan, I thought the beginning of this thread was insane so I jumped right on it. And your welcome for the compliment. I do think youre mostly pretty intelligent...

The Scrubs will choke before they even get there. Just like in 98! And really, if we could start playing with fundamentals, we might beat em there!
-
Thanks for the recognition...

Prior is good, dont get me wrong. But pitchers get hurt too easily. I bet the Cards would love to have him but if he gets a severe career ending injury and the Cards gave up Pujols for him, it would nearly make up for that Broglio-Brock disaster between the two rivals...

The Scrubs are friggen chokes man! Geez, those cocks choke worse than us! Theyll never win a series. But then again, we may never either...
-
And the thread title. Im still a Colon fan, but hes been with us less than a freakin half year! What about Jack McDowell, and Alex Fernandez and Wilson Alvarez? Not to mention the ones that pitched before my times in the last 20 years. Rex, Colon is a great pitcher and someday he might be at the same level of Sox greatness as the others, but hes not there yet! Usually youre a rather intelligent poster but this thread is ridiculous, no offense...
-
I love Colon. I hope we lock him up for a long time. He is a workhorse, he has a 3.93 ERA, and he stands up for his teammates! I love that. But to say hes our most consistent starter, what the hell? Loz has been our most consistent starter, to think otherwise would be insane, and this is coming from a Colon fan...

Umm, someone said that Buehrle should be moved up to face the Twins because they have problems with lefties. Thats a good point, but they dont struggle with Buehrle. This year, Buehrle is 0-2 with a 10.45 ERA against the Twins. Id do what abozichiu would do...
-
Itll take too much to get him. I dont wanna lose Colon, whos a great pitcher ALREADY and he stands up for his teammates, for some potent Scrub...

I dunno. I think shes been around. The one poster I havent seen in a while is baggio. Whered he go?

Geez, soxfan, now that I said you were mature youre starting to act like me...

I wouldn't do it if I were the Cubs. Stud pitching beats Stud hitting. I do think thats as fair as it would get though. I don't think there could be any straight up trade that would be closer. I happened to be thinking yesterday of what the Cubs would think of with this package. Jose Valentin and Bartolo Colon to the Cubs (Or Mark Buehrle) and the Sox get Carlos Zambrono and Juan Cruz or that Guzman kid in return. I was also thinking that since the Cubs have fallen out of favor with Bobby Hill that he could be had for Jose Valentin and a reliever. Although this would be a very tough sell. I wouldn't want Bobby Hill and Scott Borass on the southside. We already had the disaster of drafting that no talent ass clown. No thank you. We drafted Hill?
-
I dont want Zambrano.
-
I know, but I just thought it was rather ironic. And I mean, Pujols is a darn good hitter so its just which do you value more? Pitching or hitting? Take your choice. But its the Cubs and Cards, I could care less...
-
Heh, just after I said you were very mature. But whatever, I was gonna say the same thing, lol...
-
If Colons still on the team Id say him. But since I doubt that, I voted for Mark. I have no faith in Jon and I doubt Loaiza will do this well next year...
-
Youre 13? Well, youre very mature for your age. You had me fooled...

I work at a golf course so I gotta wear a white polo shirt and khaki pants. Makes me look like a nerd...
