  1. ANyone want to go back on some of the Ozzie defending in this thread after Timo just focked up again in the outfield? Timo and Everett in the outfield together, WIllie playing ahead of Iguchi and thi sis coming off a bad loss yesterday where Burhle was allowed to hit ahead of Frank T and Everett ANd this is all in a NL park where we are one less hitter anyways and with Minny only 4.5 games back now, soon to be 3.5 :fyou Ozzie
  2. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:47 PM) These game threads are depressing. DO not blame us. We have had enough with that bastage Ozzie and his tinkering. He is worst than focking Jerry Manuel.
  3. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:47 PM) If KW stands pat with the roster as its currently assembled, I don't think there could be much of an argument against it. What he's able to do between now and the trade deadline will have more of an effect this season determining the eventual AL Central champion than the in- season moves KW has been able to make the last couple seasons IMHO. BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT.....we do not need to change this roster. Kenny said all of these guys love each other (read as willing to give BJs to manager and others as needed) and that is the most impt thing
  4. I finally found something to get excited about today When we are losing in the 9th today, we do not have to pinch hit with Timo We might pinch hit with Buerhle though over Frank, Dye, Guch and Rowand :banghead
  5. QUOTE(sayitanitso @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:44 PM) Wee Willie gets on with a bunt base hit. Why doesn't the infield simply play in to Willie. The guy cannot get a hit other than with a bunt to save his life....
  6. I should be pumped that Freddie came out of that Timo moment with no runs given up. But I am not......simply sad when White Sox fans have given up. Just shows how demotivating our manager is
  7. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:42 PM) Someone answer this question honestly. Has there been a game this entire season in which Timo played, that he didn't f*** up at least once? Ask Robin Ventura Eternal....he loves Timo :puke
  8. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:35 PM) f*** you Ozzie and your little girlfriend. We deserve to lose this game. Far too often, we have to overcome our own manager's stupidity in order to win. Lets see the Ozzie apologists try to stick up for him after this debacle. We have the best record in baseball
  9. QUOTE(tony72 @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:32 PM) Freddy has been known to get hit early and then shut them down...and also this is not the Padres greatest pitcher..this game is still very winnable.. Of course it is.....the problem is just look at that lineup Horrible
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:31 PM) All I know is something needs to be done about Uribe. He's been an absolute joke at the plate for far too long right now. If it was Crede that looked this bad, there would be a million threads about trading for someone irrational like Eric Chavez....oh wait, that's already happened. Trust me I have always said both SS and 3B need upgrades Problem is you have signed URibe to a 3 year deal. Hence my logic to trade for ARod.....he can even play SS and we can move Uribe to 3B
  11. Surprise....URibe Ks on a pitch out of the strike zone :puke
  12. This single means Timo gets play every day now right? :puke
  13. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:29 PM) TIMO!
  14. In this BP where it is almost impossible to hit the long ball, with our long ball hitters we are done
  15. Can someone please please please email Hawk-DJ and rant about Timo focking Perez on this roster please?????
  16. What's hilarious is that we do not even have a BP to go to right now WHo is going to pitch if Freddie has to be removed in the 1st or 2nd inning? Luis? Shingo? Cotts? Hermy cannot go much and he needs a rest, Marte is injured and Politte cannot be overworked as he is our only reliable pitcher
  17. I said it earlier. When your manager basically gives up every 3rd game of the series, it has an effect on the players who at a subconscious level give up too. I blame Ozzie for this disaster.....focking bastage
  18. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:20 PM) I wonder if Franks ankle isn't well enough yet to play defense...if Ozzie is going to give people work, I am kind of surprised Frank isn't playing first and sitting Paulie... Frank was quoted in the paper yesterday that he would not play 1B. He does not want to take a chance with that ankle. If he fractures it again, he said, he would be done for his career and he wants to play 4 more years at least. Here is the link to the article if you are interested http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines Thomas was emphatic he would serve only as a designated hitter because of his 10½-month recovery from a severe left ankle injury. "I'm not going to play first until next year," Thomas said. "I'm not going to risk the injury. I'm not going to risk reinjuring my ankle. It's important because if I reinjure it, I'm done. "I want to last another four years and it's going to take a whole year to heal this thing. It's not really a choice because I can go there now and push the wrong way and refracture it. That's how I fractured it last year."
