  1. Honest question: Why can't a 1B play the 3B position? After all they do play that position against the left handed hitter .... My logic is if we could send Paulie to 3B, then we can have Frank play 1B and Carl as DH and send Crede's ass to the bench only to play late in games as defensive replacement for Frank (Crede goes to 3B and Paulie moves back to 1B) Just a thought....
  2. El Duque is at 85 pitches. This better be his last at bat since we need to keep him injury free Give Botch, Vizcaino and Walker the 7/8/9 unless hell breaks loose in one of them
  3. Even if Frank gets healthy we better upgrade one other position offensively. I would have to say 3B if Crede shows his earlier streak was a fluke
  4. Oh boy....we might have ANOTHER bases loaded but no runs scores situation that someone was arguing about before in this thread
  5. Timo freaking Perez Urghhh.... I am hoping that if we can get a couple of runs here, we can end this game with Botch and Walker pitching
  6. QUOTE(Steff @ May 11, 2005 -> 08:05 PM) Absolutely...
  7. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ May 11, 2005 -> 07:59 PM) Not game related but, should I make pop corn or eat a couple slices of rasin bread for my afternoon snack? Stop with this attitude and simply accept it the way it is
  8. QUOTE(quickman @ May 11, 2005 -> 07:58 PM) So true fathom, our attitude changes with the inning ..the batter. its normal stuff for passionate fans But we are not supposed to say anything negative. Of course, if it is against Willie Harris then it is ok.....right Steff?
  9. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 11, 2005 -> 07:50 PM) back to back Palsy and Death? Has that happened before so far this year? Yes it has. Early in the season, it was either vs Detroit or Cleveland, but we were down 2 or 3 in the bottom of the 9th and Paulie and Dye went back to back for HRs....and we won that game on Uribe's hit in bottom of the 9th
  10. Please come back Frank Thomas.....do not let the loser Sox fans who prefer to keep you out get to you.
  11. Thank God for a wild pitch .... that may be the only way we score runs today
  12. Around the horn Yankees leading Seattle 12-9 in a "pitching battle" in bottom of 6th Cubs leading Mets 3-2 with Jesus on the mound Twinkies down 2-1 vs O's vs Cy Santana on mound vs Ponson Pena-less Royals leading BJs 9-7 in their attempt to come back to win this division
  13. A 6+ ERA pitcher and we cannot do jack against him :banghead
  14. So the great Ozzie line up has 1 hit until now I am surprised :banghead
  15. QUOTE(mreye @ May 11, 2005 -> 06:38 PM) Why? This lineup can't win? Why watch? Why are you reading the play by play here if you already know the outcome? It's like a terrible train wreck mreye. You know this is a disaster that needs a miracle but you still watch &
  16. El Duque better throw a shut out there after the terrible line up provided by Ozzie here
  17. Ozzie and his terrible tinkering Jerry Manuel part 2 Unf***ingbelievable....Cy Brazelton is very possible today :headshake
  18. Screw this s***. Let's win one, hopefully twinkies lose one tomorrow and we can move on to the O's
  19. Another BB for Count :headshake
