  1. The best part about the Twinkies trailing 7-3 today is that it was with Johan Santana on the mound Hopefully the BJs sweep these bastards now EAT s*** MINNY
  2. This infield of the Rangers is focking scary Young Texiera Blalock Soriano
  3. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 17, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) Why the f*** do people want to replace a player makign the money he is? He is not one of the main problems at this point. Bullpen is gonna end up being a problem as i have said since the off-season and the core of the damn line-up making all the money can't do s***. Crede should is way down the line. I swear I had the exact same argument for the folks who wanted to abandon Garland the last few years. Amazing... However, we are trying to improve from a playoff team to a WS winner....every move/non-move will matter in the playoffs.
  4. No need to change anything. El Duque had a bad outing where he left everything high in the zone against a very good hitting team...that happens from time to time The pitching lost us the game last night but the bigger problems on this team are Cruddy swinging for the fences out of his zone, Paulie being the 2003 Paulie, Dye = Dead, Willie Harris deciding to try hitting HRs almost every other at bat and Timo Freaking Perez trying to hit a bunt single in most at bats or trying to hit a HR every other time he is not trying to bunt
  5. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ May 17, 2005 -> 07:28 PM) okay, it's further of a spread than I thought... .240 Crede .270 Castilla but still. Castilla isn't exactly hitting the cover off the ball like he started out doing. Is he better than Cruddy? Check Does this team badly need more offense? Check Is this team trying to win a world series? Check Does Cruddy need some competition? Check Does Cruddy even seem to give a damn at the plate looking at his horrible swings? Check
  6. I am still willing to wait until AS break and see if Crede can even hit >0.280 overall until then.... The guy swings at everything low and down in the zone. It is terrible. He either does not make contact or he pops it up....not to mention all of those swings are with the intention of pulling the ball for a HR
  7. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ May 17, 2005 -> 07:24 PM) What's Crede hitting since this thread was made? What's Castilla hitting since this thread was made? oops. So you only want to look at selective data from the season? Do you even realize Castilla has better #s everywhere vs Crede and he has played 3 less games?
  8. Regarding the Astros thingy, see where it says "right now". ================ Back to the topic, Castilla: 0.307 BA; 4 HRs; 23 RBI; 0.385 OBP; 0.504 SLG in 36 games/127 ABs Cruddy: 0.262 BA; 3 HRs; 15 RBI; 0.329 OBP; 0.397 SLG in 39 games/126 ABs Yeah, Castilla can only hit in Coors field
  9. QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 17, 2005 -> 04:03 AM) You can't put both your catchers in the same lineup. Of course you can. If the catcher gets injured, you move the 1B to C and put Paulie back out there at 1B You are just plain wrong
  10. CAN WE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD END THIS MISERY AND SEND JOE FOCKING CREDE TO THE BENCH AND GET SOMEONE WHO CAN HIT AT 3B HERE? THIS SO FOCKING SUCKS THE MORON SWINGS ALL THE TIME AT PITCHES LOW AND OUT OF THE ZONE.....NO PITCHER SHOULD EVEN BOTHER THROWING A STRIKE TO MR POP UP SCREW YOU CRUDDY. YOU ARE SO FOCKING USELESS GET VINNY CASTILLA HERE DAMN IT
  11. Why the fock is Ozzie again tinkering with his two boyfriends Timo and Harris in the line up? What a focking joke
  12. QUOTE(T R U @ May 16, 2005 -> 05:32 PM) Not a surprise to me... but to all the Cotts backers claiming his ERA will be under 4 That was supposed to be in green...
  13. Even when Frank Thomas makes it back from his minor-league rehab stint, Guillen says nothing will change for Konerko. "When Frank comes, I hope to give him some DH [at-bats]. Carl [Everett] is there, and he'll play some outfield, and I'm going to mix my lineup more often. But Paulie's going to be my first baseman.'' ======================== http://www.suntimes.com/output/telander/cst-spt-rick16.html ========================= Personally I will be happy with Carl in the OF and Frank and Paulie in the line up. That makes our middle of the line up so much more formidable.
  14. Botch focked up again the last 2 games vs the O's
  15. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...cs-home-utility
  16. Ground out.....Sox down 3-2 now Do we have another rally in us?
  17. And Willie knocks in Kong hahaha I always knew Willie could do it
  18. Oh boy Willie now.....when we have to rely on DH Willie to save us, the apocalypse is upon us
  19. 2-0 to Crede In the cat bird seat...he better walk if given the walk
  20. But the Yanks uniform looks very similar to ours ....
