April 15, 200521 yr Vinny is a much better player than Crede but it's just not reasonable seeing how he got a big contract and that the Nationals are likely very happy with him. THey won't be dumping players if they struggle. THey need to try to be as decent as possible to avoid alienating the new fanbase.

Seriously, there's a reason the Braves have let him go and now the Rockies. He isn't anything anymore and he has a big contract. Here's a suggestion: Get Rolen, A-Rod to play SS, Jeter to play 2B, Pujols @ first, Pudge as catcher, then trade Scott Podsednik, Everett and Rowand for Bonds, Vlad and Beltran. For our pitching staff let's trade for Clemens, RJ, Schilling, Pedro and Peavy. Then our bullpen could be Frankie Rodriguez, Eric Gagne, Nathan, Rivera and Foulke. Anyone want to bring back Babe Ruth to be our 6th starter???
