Harris a former Ranger...had a very productive ST but not a great defender by any stretch of the imagination.

Might be Billy Carlson with that pretty high extended follow through extension.

Fucking defense sucks, too. Especially after Bradish just handed them the lead with his first two career errors.

Not to mention Teel and Vasil out and Murakami at .200. Colson...there was always a concern about repeatability and Quero simply looks awful. Vargas and Davis Martin the bright spots.

Non-White Sox Off-Season Hot Stove
However, it's their pitching that's going to carry them into the Fall Classic, fueled by the league's most underrated rotation -- learn the names Parker Messick, Slade Cecconi and Joey Cantillo, because they're going to comprise three-fifths of the second rotation in history (1998 Braves) with 150-plus K's apiece. And when the 2026 books are closed, these Guardians will also become the first team in baseball history to capture three different pieces of postseason hardware (MVP Jose Ramirez, Rookie of the Year Chase DeLauter, Manager of the Year Stephen Vogt). Gavin Williams, rein in the walks these next couple of weeks and I'll make this hot take a clean 4-for-4 on the awards front! -- Tristan Cockcroft espn.com https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/guardians-rotation-picking-where-left-205005448.html

GETZ’s biggest accomplishment?
Fine, merge it. I mean there's a dedicated thread about PHing Benintendi or whatever. The Sox are quite fortunate that they possess the 1-1 pick this year or things would be even more bleak than they already are.

Shane Smith sent down. Update: Has rotator cuff strain.
”I think the injury/durability concerns that will go with Smith (which is why he was an undrafted collegiate FA signee to begin with and exposed him early to the Rule 5 draft) factor in alot, too. His stuff is MLB-caliber, but not necessarily as a front of the rotation starter until he proves he can be that type of workhorse. As this season wears on, it's clear Smith will have to potentially try proving that in 2026 - because that's not happening this season. Was it a mistake to leave Smith exposed in the Rule 5 draft? Yes - but I don't think it was a travesty considering how many arms the Brewers have in their organization and on their MLB roster who Smith would likely sit behind on the pecking order for innings in Milwaukee.“ ”It’s not clear that he would be one of the Brewers’ seven best starting pitchers at this point. BrewerFan makes a great argument that losing Smith forced the Priester trade. OTOH the Brewers clearly had their eyes on Priester for a while, including at the time they cut bait on Smith. Would they have even (rightly or wrongly) given Smith a shot? They appear to have liked Priester more. We’ll see if they were right or wrong. BTW, we should probably convert this into a “tracking ex-Brewers organization starting pitchers on the White Sox” thread. Adrian Houser, who was unpitchable for the Mets last season, is having a career year. Bryse Wilson and Aaron Civale have managed the impressive achievement of making the White Sox worse.” Brewer FanaticRule 5 to CWS - Shane Smith Discussion Thread
