White Sox signing Randal Grichuk to major league deal
https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/major-league?pos=dh&qual=80 Benintendi 29th out of 30 at DH. Only ahead of Sal Perez. Can’t do any better than that, really?

Signing Murakami best Sox decision in ages. Very good investment.
Next trade deadline or perhaps after the lockout is resolved. Although there’s a theory teams will try to lock in all their young players with extensions before new CBA rules are applied and the old system grandfathered in. Which means a team would want logically want to bowl over the Sox with an offer to acquire and extend him before December 1st….and after the last out of the World Series, só basically a two month window opens up for the Sox to extend as well as other teams to present their best offers if a Sox long-term deal can’t be agreed upon with agent Casey Close.

White Sox signing Randal Grichuk to major league deal
We also heard for years we needed to trade Burger when he was just 26/27 and yet got nothing back in return for him that wasn't on Getz's 2022-23 Jake Eder top prospects scouting report.

Murakami x Louis Vuitton
Another $54 million and approaching $400 million internationally in terms of box office. Fine, Janet Jackson and/or Melody Hobson Star Wars figures lol. Or put them paired in Sox jerseys for bobbleheads. Oprah lol? If the Sox did a Michael Jackson/Mune co-promotion with Pepsi in Japan (maybe through cooperation with the Yakult Swallows) it would sell in the hundreds of thousands or even low millions.. KPopDemon Hunters 2? Mario Galaxy/Universe....lots of overlap with Mario World in Osaka. Also any kind of giveaway related to Hayao Miyazaki and his impressive collection of animated characters like Totoro in Sox gear. The 10 Most Memorable Studio Ghibli Characters Of All Time Kaonashi – Spirited Away. ... Catbus – My Neighbor Totoro. ... Kiki – Kiki's Delivery Service. ... Princess Mononoke – Princess Mononoke. ... Totoro – My Neighbor Totoro. ... Sheeta – Castle In The Sky. ... Seita – Grave Of The Fireflies. ... Haku – Spirited Away.

White Sox signing Randal Grichuk to major league deal
-0.5 fWAR Acuna and Benintendi provide the same negative value and have contributed equally to 16-18. It’s on Getz to find someone/anyone that can at least provide 1-2 fWAR production. Holding into Benintendi is the equivalent of Enron Worldcom and AIG returning to their previously established market values. See Phillies cutting Castellanos to get a theoretically more productive player in there.

Like Robert when he was swinging with just one hand?

“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
They added ONE Asian region scout, a Japanese former player/coach. And they have Takatsu and Iguchi, lol.

Antonacci is far from developed as a LFer. He's more of a band aid. He's better than Vaughn or Sheets in the outfield, but that's still a pretty low bar. Benintendi has nothing to do with Getz and should be waived. He's not worth anything any longer. Sunk cost fallacy. And you left out Acuna, quite intentionally. And Hays' history of 18 injuries since Covid. And Pereira's injury history beginning with the Yankees. Tristan Peters has been better than expected (for now) and Hill a replacement level player. The fact remains that Braden is the only real legit prospect out there...which is largely thanks to Crochet. No I don't count Sammy Zavala or Jacob Gonzalez here.

5/3 Sox @ Padres - 3:10PM CT
30. Angels (previously: 22) It was fun for a while – and Mike Trout is still quite fun – but the bottom fell out for the Angels this week with eight losses in their last nine games, including two at the hands of the Mets, a team that had come into Anaheim very much reeling. The Angeles’ current winning percentage would, in fact, be the worst in their franchise’s history. (Despite their struggles, they have never lost 100 games. mlb.com
