We have AP IB and British A Levels external curriculum in our school... about 75-95 admitted to Illinois Purdue UCSB UC Davis UCI UCSD per year out of 475. Twenty for Oxford and Cambridge etc. I needed a break from non profit burnout... always enjoyed tutoring, had those typical liberal arts interests from family and loved the travel possibilities. Just bought an apartment here for around $375k in a 53 floor building... only two bedrooms one bath under 100 square meters... but perfect city location on subway near city center/shopping district. That's how distorted home prices are in even second tier Chinese cities. That relatively small apartment would cost 2-3x as much in Shanghai Beijing or Hong Kong/Shenzhen/Guangzhou.

Can he sue the ump if he loses 1/16th of his wages for a ten game suspension? That's a massive amount of coin now with some of these elite pitching contracts.

Much better with FA's. Much better with scrap heap career resurrections like Marte DeAza Thornton Jenks Santos. Fielded competitive teams consistently... and over a much longer time period. Hahn has zero successful achievements to compare. Every team with a Top 5 MiLB system has eventually made the playoffs at least once in the modern era. And 2020 team wouldn't have made it if played out over a longer season with more play outside the Central Division.

Pretty sure it was 5 or 6 total appearances... obviously 2015/16 the most successful with two NLCS and one WS. There was a break in there with Maddon getting forced out and Ross trying to keep the last players remaining competitive through 2020/21 before Rizzo Bryant Baez Contreras all moved on. That coincided with MIL and StL taking back control of Central.

Making the 87/93 Marlins the most successful, 87/91 Twins...Giants, Red Sox, Cardinals, Astros, etc. Of course it was the Yankees until the 2000s. Obviously Braves/Dodgers/Rays are difficult to argue against over the last decade... along with Astros (albeit cheating.)

Which is why they struggled so much against Minnesota in the 2000's and then the Tigers/Royals/Guardians and now the Twins again over the following 10-15 years, with the obvious exception of 2005 when everything came together perfectly.

Patrick Wisdom is a perfect example of a "Dodgers Value Guy" who bounced around all over the league and finally found a home. Swanson has such an inconsistent track record offensively (solid speed and defense obviously), but is playing out of his mind. Bellinger's case is well-documented...change of scenery. Suzuki has a world of potential on the offensive side if he can stay healthy. Hoerner SEEMS like a bargain with that $35 million extension. ETC. Then it always comes down to pitching...in this case, the Brewers are out to a huge advantage and the Cubs/Cards fighting to keep up with that most cost-efficient franchise, the most similar to the Rays in the NL.
