We should have trusted the Dodgers and Brewers being unwilling to invest in him long term. In some ways, MIL pretty much chose the much cheaper Narvaez and Manny Pina over him.

They could hit just Martinez Devers and Story...give up the other six outs each time through, and still somehow beat the White Sox against Keuchel.

Isn't it closer to 60-65% of salary for that time missed? As for the White Sox, Lloyd's of London should probably avoid insuring them at all costs. Losing proposition unless the premiums are out of the stratosphere.

Why apologize to the Robinson family if you didn’t do anything wrong? That paragraph of his statement was disingenuous at best, scripted by his agent, and/or the Yankees/MLB and comes across as something he doesn’t really believe, ringing hollow.

Just wait until they trade Contreras, Happ, Robertson, Stroman (maybe), etc. Even with the weaker division, rebuilding on the fly was always going to be a nearly insurmountable challenge.
