  1. That freaking throw one-hopped Sogard, too. Everything that can go wrong WILL go wrong.
  2. This is one of those games it just hurts to be a White Sox fan.
  3. Jesus Christ, you've got to be kidding me. No freaking way. No way. No, no, no.
  4. God, this game has just been awful whenever we had runners on 2nd or 3rd, something horrific has happened each time. Feels like a combination of 2009 and 20011 all mixed into one game of bad memories.
  5. YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. That has to be the game, lol.
  6. 7 total bases for Konerko today. HR, 2 singles, and an intentional walk.
  7. 2nd hit of the season with Dunn against a LHP. Great luck with the ball hitting that base or it would have been an out probably. TBL sighting. Now score this run, dammit. If they can't score here, I'm going to turn this damned game off...well, maybe.
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 05:54 PM) Great pitching. It is disgraceful the Sox can't put this baby away. The Sox on paper have a much better team. Great job, pitching staff. Excellent job today. Greg, stop freaking out, lol. Disgraceful? Three weeks ago, we were expected to finish 72-90. Now having a 4-2 road trip is disgraceful? Try to relax a bit. Or at least wait to flip out until we've actually lost the game!!!
  9. Isn't this Northside's favorite ex-Royal? Let's please give Konerko another shot at this, Nathan. Whatever you want to say about Ventura and Morel, our bullpen's been great today against a mostly AAA/AA line-up with the exception of Cespedes and Suzuki.
  10. Just missed it, lol. What did Harrelson have to say about that at-bat? Two outs. 10 consecutive outs recorded by Sox relievers. 17/18. Cespedes walk the only blip on the radar screen. Last hit was Cespedes RBI single to give them the 2-0 lead.
  11. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 05:47 PM) I can tell you that Cardinals announcers don't. They have played a couple of simlilar games to the ones that we are playing against the Cubs, and it's everybody elses fault but the players. Seriously, if your players can't score more than 2 runs against the Cubs you deserve to lose. Rooney's still a much better broadcaster than anyone we have on radio. Or you're referring to Mike Shannon?
  12. If the A's are going to win it today, it's going to be either a homer here or walk to Cespedes.
  13. At least the food and beverage vendors are happy with this game. Not that the A's have much of a crowd.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 05:41 PM) Who do the A's have left? Blevins, Figueroa and Miller. DeLosSantos sent down thanks to his last appearance two nights ago against the Sox.
  15. Only 25 K's in 62 AB's (4 BB's) so far for Morel this season.
  16. QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 05:36 PM) Eric Sogard looks like somebody from elementary school with those glasses. They were just making fun of him. Out of uniform, he looks like the guy who runs your IT department. Or Harry Potter. And he picks Welcome to the Jungle for his walk-up music. Only player in the majors who wears prescription glasses.
  17. 8 in a row for Sox relievers. Would like to see Lillibridge somehow involved. Morel, Escobar/PH (hint) and back to the top of the order. Not exactly smelling like a crooked number inning.
  18. Why isn't Lillibridge in defensively for Viciedo? Nathan Jones is the next guy in, if it comes to it.
  19. Shows how much confidence Robin has in Beckham and Lillibridge there. Although using Beckham would have forced more defensive realignments and brought Lillibridge in defensively, too.
  20. Jesus. We have nobody off the bench who can actually hit a fastball.
  21. When the last time Alex Rios was intentionally walked? C'mon Fukudome/Lillibridge.... Viciedo the choice over Lillibridge and Beckham. 29 K's for Dunn now this year.
  22. This should be interesting. Ohman against Jermile Weeks (switch hitter), Sogard (L) and Reddick (L). Seth Smith the only PHer available to Melvin. Unless Santiago's in for the save with a Rios single. PR? Lillibridge?
  23. 5 K's in a row for Sox relievers. Jordan Oh, Boy! It's OBERTO coming into the game.
  24. No Luke Hughes or CoCo Crisp available today. Seth Smith, Mr. Walk, is their only bench player available. Thornton continues the string, 4 K's in a row by Addison and Matt against their line-up. Nice run going.
