Fire Pedro Grifol
Startung to get a feeling they will go with a bigger name in Leyland's son eventually over Jirschele.

Now that TA is gone, what is going to replace the quasi gangsta fist thing players did when they got on base?
Well, technically 1.000. That's a pretty good "pull" rate. Thought Fathom would like that one.

And at least Trout is an iconic player. They draw really well regardless. But signing Rendon was the critical mistake.

Dusty Baker already turned on his former teammate. The difference is at least those Dodgers' teams came together to win on the field.

Well...theoretically a bevy of 24-26 year old Tier B/C prospects added in flip trades. And then there's the Cease deal.

Why is it okay for the White Sox to use surge or dynamic pricing but not Wendy's...?
That just diminishes the value of your product so much that nobody will want to pay legit prices again in the future if the team is ever decent again. This might work for A ball teams....but not so much major leagues. Would have worked a lot better in 2022 and 2023 as well...before so many fans gave up out of frustration and started to say things like I wouldn't go even if they gave away tickets for free.

Triggering the Baker's Dozen Krispy Kreme giveaway for opponents scoring 13 runs or more this season against the Sox in a game.

Even Wendy's is more exciting than the White Sox and Grifol.

Why is it okay for the White Sox to use surge or dynamic pricing but not Wendy's...?
Tanner’s mention of dynamic pricing led observers to imagine the chain jacking up the cost of ice-cold Frostys on parched summer afternoons, or boosting Baconator bills during the lunch rush. As backlash built, Wendy’s was forced to issue a statement, saying that the media had misconstrued the intent of its dynamic pricing plans as focused on raising prices during peak demand times. Instead, the chain maintained, the digital menuboards would allow it to “offer discounts and value offers to our customers more easily, particularly in the slower times of day.” That may have soothed the masses a little. But the reality is that implementing “dynamic discounts,” as one might refer to them, instead of surge pricing, is simply another way for a business to engage in price discrimination — the economic term for charging different costs to people who have different demand profiles in order to extract maximum profit. Yes, the stray customer who wants a Loaded Nacho Chicken Sandwich at 11 a.m. might benefit from a few cents off. But realistically, such dynamic discounts could just be used to soften the impact of future price increases. And it’s easy to imagine how that might backfire, given how fluidly people can shift gears from chain to chain if they feel like they’re not getting their money’s worth. Discounts at odd hours might pull in some marginal customers, but not knowing how much of a hit your wallet might take when you’re craving a Dave’s Double adds a layer of unnecessary anxiety to a world that already frequently feels like it’s on the brink of the existential abyss, which could push away customers more generally. https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/01/opinions/wendys-menu-dynamic-pricing-yang/index.html

https://www.sfgate.com/giants/article/brandon-crawford-departure-farhan-zaidi-fault-18698540.php SF Giants seem to be taking the opposite approach with their veteran players...thinking that moving on will make it easier for young players feeling there's a margin of error or comfort level with an established between on the roster trying to take their starting spot back.

Well, the example would be a busload of school kids on a class trip showing up and flooding the restaurant on a hot late May day with Frosty prices instantly doubling as soon as they walked in to order.

Sox expected to improve to 9th best defense, Guardians 1st, Cubs 2nd and Twins just ahead of Sox,
DJ read the article and just said we were going to be 7th. Well, maybe not based on Spring Training play...obviously a lot of mistakes by youngsters. But not exactly encouraging performances, either.

Related to Brian? Sox pitchers with way too many walks. Three sun and wind-aided hits the Cubs outfielders couldn't handle. Kopech ranged 93-98...5 k's. Spotty command with FB, overthrowing a bit...but much better in second inning.

Oh no they didn’t. Brielle's husband-to-be, who hails from Newton, Massachusetts, is a relief pitcher. After graduating from Duke University in 2022, Billy was drafted by the White Socks, and he now plays for their minor league team, the Kinneapolis Cannon Ballers. The 24-year-old went public with his romance with Brielle in April of 2023. Brielle first shared a photo with Billy on her Instagram grid in February 2024. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/brielle-biermann-answers-burning-questions-164919733.html
