QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 02:02 PM) He played Kramer on the Jerry show (Seinfeld) He played Heckles on Friends. It's hard to look that guys name up. I only knew him from Seinfeld and trying to find the guy that played Kramer on the Jerry Show is a tough google.

It would be awesome if Parker for some reason ended up at Depaul.

2012-2013 NCAA Basketball thread
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 29, 2012 -> 12:09 AM) Please find where I said this. But, no way we get Parker regardless. You aren't the best player in the country and go to Illinois. Not when you can go to ANY program you want to. It was the same thing with Davis. And though not the best, same thing with Scheyer. These aren't "misses." Players of that caliber are national stars, it's not a miss when Illinois doesn't get them. If Parker some how goes to Champaign...well I don't even know how to finish this sentence. Get real. I never said it's a miss if they don't get him. I don't expect him to go to Illinois. I was just responding to someone who said Parham could be the key to Illinois landing him.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 27, 2012 -> 11:47 PM) You would have said this regardless. I'll take Chi coaches over your biased opinion. Where is the link between Parham and Parker? That's all I'm saying. He's a good recruiter and good guy from everything I've heard. Good hire for Illinois just don't think he's the key to landing Parker.

I doubt Parham is the key to anything. He was solid for ISU, but Muller didn't need him once he brought in Dana Ford and company.

I've never met anyone that likes the Winter Olympics more. The Summer Olympics blow them out of the water.

Twins. Sox. Gamethread. Part 3
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 25, 2012 -> 03:55 PM) I was all for Youk hitting 7th or 8th. But hitting him second does make sense given his ability to get on base (when he is healthy). De Aza and Youk in front of Dunn and Konerko = lots of men to drive in for the latter. Ideally it would be great to have his OBP there in the 2 hole. However with Gordon hitting well the last two months I don't want to do anything that could put him into another funk.

Gordon really should be staying in the 2 hole IMO. Don't mess with what has been working for him of late.

I'm a very messy person when it comes to my personal spaces. A game I play is that when I get home I empty my pocket of change right onto my bedroom floor and have a nice surprise when I clean. Today's haul? $17.89

Absolute Worst Things in the World
QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 8, 2012 -> 10:09 AM) The worst is when that happens at work, I'm always afraid the pants will really rip and nothing you can do but have a nice walk of shame to your car. This happened to me while I was working at Jewel for a summer. They got caught on a dumpster. The worst part is I only had one pair of work pants so I had to go to Wal Mart in my ripped pants to buy some new ones so I could go back to work.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:40 PM) Has to. And then Pat Riley and Co. need to take a look in the mirror and fire themselves. You have to give them the Bosh injury. But they've done a piss-poor job of putting together a sufficient cast around their stars. Other than Chalmers, there isn't one player on this roster I would accept a free autograph from. Why do you want Mario Chalmers' autograph?

2012 Video Game Thread
Only serious for my own personal needs. I don't need a smartphone and dislike using touch screens so I have a flip phone. It serves me well paying 22 bucks a month. I'm near a computer like 95% of my life, don't need one in my pocket.
