I was thinking about trying to get someone to make the trip down there with me. I know it's also supposed to be on ESPNU. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 24, 2009 -> 02:05 PM) The worst thing that ever happened to this thread was Mario Chalmers hitting that jumper. -
That's weird, just did it again and its still working for me, its the last result.
-
It happened when I googled rally crede. How can you not believe?

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 22, 2009 -> 01:29 PM) Damn. 13 bucks? Can I just go get high & catch a matinee? Next week we should definitely do both of that. I'd like to see it again where i'm not in the 2nd row.
-
It was just an awesome experience in IMAX 3D. Just stunning. I know 100% that I would shell out the 13 bucks to do it again. I was in the second row so I need to see it from further back.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 09:35 PM) Heh, you say that like you're going to track him down. Thats just what I was thinking. I didn't know Gage was also batman.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 06:46 PM) Did you guys see it in 3D? I'm seeing it in 3D on the IMAX tonight. I'll let ya know what I think.

QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 05:21 PM) isn't that a good thing? It's not a bad thing, it gives me some movies to check out. I'm just always surprised at how little I pay attention to movies in the theater.

Just bought my ticket to see avatar in IMAX 3D tonight!

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 04:19 PM) I chose Dweezy over that. As did I. I didn't even see the hester return because I worked during that super bowl. -
You people with your fancy cars. I drive a 94 taurus.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 21, 2009 -> 11:33 AM) Pods and the ivy filled brick wall just don't match. I'm sure he could have his own blooper video of just next season if he plays there.

QUOTE (3E8 @ Dec 20, 2009 -> 03:30 PM) Ebert's top 10 mainstream and independent films of 2009 http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2009/12/th...ms_of_2009.html MAIN The White Ribbon Up in the Air A Serious Man Precious Knowing Inglourious Basterds The Hurt Locker An Education Crazy Heart Bad Lieutenant INDIE Departures Disgrace Everlasting Moments Goodbye Solo Julia Silent Light Sin Nombre Skin Trucker You, the Living I've seriously only heard of maybe 2 of the movies on either list.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 20, 2009 -> 09:41 PM) I've only heard of 3 people not ever liking "Children of Men" including myself. (Yes, the other 2 are iamshack & KyYle) Everyone I know raves about this film. Add me to that list. I was bored through the whole thing.

Yeah, I was pretty much in line with everyone else there. -
QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Dec 20, 2009 -> 11:42 AM) Whenever I eat I make sure everything on my plate is separated. For example, random pieces of corn must be removed from the potatoes before beginning. Also, each type of food must be completed before moving on to something else. Same with me. No foods touching. I also eat my foods one at a time.

Kellen Thornton 2-2 from beyond the arc. Nice to see him getting some shots to fall. I was getting sick of watching them stand around and shoot contested threes all game and I think Jank was too. -

QUOTE (kev211 @ Dec 19, 2009 -> 07:11 PM) ISU 73 Utah 63. Good bounce back game after two bad loses. Seriously this win was huge to get some confidence back before conference play. -

QUOTE (kev211 @ Dec 19, 2009 -> 02:06 PM) I like the part where once again it wasn't as ISU fan who said U of I was 5th best in the state, or even posted these rankings when they were 5th best. Everyone keeps doing things like this and sarcastically making fun of us for being ridiculous fanboys but in reality we haven't said anything out of line in this thread. Congrats on being ahead of us, both of us haven't beaten a good team yet so we can't really say whose better yet until conference play starts. Don't bother with Ill-annoy fans. -
QUOTE (LVSoxFan @ Dec 18, 2009 -> 04:44 PM) What, no Arnie Munoz? WTF! I had him on my list.
-
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 18, 2009 -> 07:25 PM) They obviously weren't getting anything useful for Bradley and saving some money. It wouldn't surprise me if they use the money saved on a CF, I read Ankiel, Byrd or Pods and if Silva is bad in spring training, just waive him. They still come out ahead. If they get pods it would be real fun to watch him play outfield in that stadium.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 09:28 AM) When are we starting the "Asshole Post of the Year" thread? we certainly have a runaway winner here.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 16, 2009 -> 03:55 PM) Because he's not a lock to get a really high pick. From Kiper today: What's your take on Benn entering the draft? Mel Kiper (1:08 PM) He's a guy who's coming out with very little buzz. Normally juniors come out with buzz. He had a QB situation at Illinois that wasn't very good. He was banged up early in the season. They kind of limped home and finished the season 3-9. This was a team that was not what they thought he would be. Benn was up against it because he didn't have the personnel he needed as a WR. He's a hard worker. He has a little bit of Marvin Harrison in him from that stand point. He's not coming in with momentum. You have to go back and look at sophomore and freshman film and you'll like what you see. I thought coming into the year that he could be top 15, now you're looking at a second rounder." The fact is he was a highly touted recruit that everyone said was "NFL ready" the moment he stepped on campus. But he stepped onto a campus full of morons so he didn't really have a stage to do squat. Is someone going to draft him? Sure. Is it going to be in the first round? Hopefully. He could have come back this next season (supposedly to be the focal point of a pro style offense...we'll see how well that goes) and improve his draft stock and make millions more. I certianly don't fault him for going. I'm just saying he's risking getting a mediocre salary by leaving early (even if it is more than we'll all make in our lives), so it's not a slam dunk decision. I thought you were still talking about Locker.
