sad thing is..aaron sele is missing his spots bad...mostly over the heart of the plate...and outside of carlos's homer we havent done squat...its not like is pitching like washburn did last night...a month ago we would have had sele in the showers in the 2nd inning

i disagree with hawk on that..the ball arrived just a smidge ahead of the runner and he immeadiately made contact with the glove...DJ disagreed with hawk..so do i..it wasnt a play that couldnt have been made but it would have spectacular..kinda like sandy against the scrubs a few years ago.. but..jaime burke sux behind home plate...now i know why he's a 32 year old rookie

i give shoenenwiess 3 more starts..it was his first start since coming off the DL..he made it 5 innings..thats a miracle when you look at what we were getting out of the 5th spot anyways...give him time to get his groove back...if after 3 starts he hasnt pitched well then give rauch 3 starts in a row...and if by that time if things havent worked out its probably to do our perennial "rebuilding for the future that never arrives" thingy...

i didnt realize that diaz pitched tonight and pitched so poorly..glad school ran long...i guess rauch gets the next start???...or shoey one more time???...did he pitch that bad???...the box showed 5IP - 5R- 5h - 2BB - 6K's..doesnt look all that bad coming back from the DL...

point taken..i guess we are all a little testy after a debacle like tonight..good news is we only have a few hours till we have another chance to right the ship.. loiaza is going..we need an all star performance tomorrow

i didnt see him pitch tonight so i cant comment than stating the obvious..in a 12-0 loss he couldnt have been too good but please everyone remember it was our pitching coach who first went to the press with this topic about shoey being removed from the rotation...shoey was just answering a reporters question when he was asked about what cooper stated in the papers....its not like he went to the press and mouthed off first.. but im guessing its off to the pen for shoey...with the way cotts has pitched lately shoey might be more valuable to the team there anyways

check the stats on sub sahara and south africa...its infecting women at a higher rate then men..thats pretty wierd..wonder why that is??

harris only has 9 extra base hits..which would be okay if he was stealing bases..looking at his splits his steals have consistently gone down april - 71 at bats - 5 steals may - 73 at bats - 3 steals - 1 cs june - july - 77 at bats - 1 steal - 1 cs i guess that shows how his confidence had dwindled as the season has gone on...is it fixable??

im not a big rowand fan but he is the closest thing we have to a real CF..timo plays the outfield on the warning track...i hate that..im not sure about this trade either way since im not that familiar with hairston but i hink a trade for a legit CF would have to be made before this trade could happen

wonder if JR , getting older now and its 23 years w/o a winner since he took over , might finally open up the purse strings and really go after buying a championship...he cant take all that money with him...he has to realize that
