Once again, look at the numbers - they don't lie. Estaban Loaiza's last 4 years: 2001 - 190.0 IP, 239 H, 106ER, 27 HR, 110 K, 11-11, 5.02 ERA 2002 - 151.1 IP, 192 H, 96 ER, 18 HR, 87 K, 9-10, 5.74 ERA 2003 - 226.1 IP, 196 H, 73 ER, 17 HR, 207 K, 21-9, 2.90 ERA 2004 - 127.2 IP, 141 H, 68 ER, 19 HR, 74 K, 8-5, 4.79 ERA The guy is mediocre. He had his career year last year. But if you want to believe otherwise, or think that he's "hurt," so be it. It's a free country.

When Keith blows a save, just simply say that his team got FOULKED. It's a nice way to put it, while still fulfilling any sexual tension you might have.
-
"When Frank comes back" - it will be 2005, and I'm sure he will b**** about his contract sometime in Spring Training. If not before then ....... He's toast for this year - just stick some warm butter and jam on him like you do with other toast.

If we don't start winning some of these "tough losses," we're gonna end up just like the North Side f***s -- lamenting those losses we laughed at in April, May, June, and early July while we blew those losses off -- realizing that they ultimately screwed us the same as losses in August and September. Those "early" losses that most people just dismiss or blow off can ultimately SCREW you. If we had won just half of those "oh don't worry about it it's early" losses, we are up 8 games up right now, there's less pressure, and the Twins are ready to blow their brains out.

Once again - and think about this - REALLY think about this - If you are relying on Juan Uribe to carry your team - you are in a lot of trouble. But keep on defending our "bench player gone starter." Don't blame me, for cry's sake. Blame the GM. He's the one responsible for the roster, which is nothing more than the same damn roster we had under "Sleepy" Manuel. The best way I can put it is "SSDD." Same s***, Different Day.

Soxfanforever, Let me dummy this down for you: Uribe was helping to carry our offense when he was hitting .350. He was always on base, or he was driving guys in who WERE on base. He was a key contributor for the Sox offense. Now he's back to his normal numbers - mediocre, and nothing worth a s***. In other words, HE'S NOT GETTING ON BASE, HE'S NOT SCORING RUNS, DRIVING IN RUNS. Or to put it mildly - HE'S SLUMPING HORRIBLY, AND WE WERE RELYING ON HIM TO SCORE RUNS, DRIVE IN RUNS, or CREATE RUNS WHEN OUR OFFENSE WAS FLYING HIGH. To dummy it down EVEN FURTHER - when Uribe good, White Sox good. When Uribe bad, White Sox bad. I would show you how to light a fire with a couple of rocks and a stick, but I didn't want to drag my intelligence down to the level of humans circa 3400 B.C.

Crede = Kevin Orie with a little more pop Thanks for participating.

CASE IN POINT -- If we're relying on or depending on Juan Uribe to be one of our main saviors - we have many more problems than we can even imagine. Welcome to reality, my friends.

Our offense sucks ass as it is - we don't need some .085-hitting sloth to clog it up worse. If you want a s***ty-hitting catcher who can be "good defensively" but who hits for jack s*** - then sign Paul Bako away from the Cubs. If Ben Davis ever hits .250 in the majors again, I'll personally pay for a f*cking carnival celebration. I'll even throw a party. I don't care if a catcher is the best defensive catcher in the history of MLB, he has to at least hit Callista Flockhart's weight (.125) or he's worthless. Period - new paragraph. Ben Davis sucks. I mean REALLY sucks.
