Oh yea, that guy... IIRC he had a good fastball and I thought he'd be being called up in the not so distant future.

Yeah, I think it may have been 2002 (?) where he was really tearing it up, especially with his power numbers, then he was out for the whole year I believe. Will he start in Charlotte this year, or be a backup which I think he was last year?

Speaking of prospects, what's been up with Valenzuela, I remember he was having a really good ST a couple years back, but then got injured or something. I always thought he had a good shot of success. But probably now hes not so young anymore and I can't see him breaking into such a crowded outfield.

It really upsets me that if the Konerko deal goes through, that we are 'stuck' with the payroll freed up to sign such quality players. I can't see it happening unless they were just interested in PK/Perez straight up, with no payroll concerns. And we can't sign 3rd tier pitchers, we have to give up talent for them. What a club.

I watched the first couple episodes and they were great. I really wanted to keep awatching, but I decided just to go out at wed. nights or whatever night it is on. Its tough to make time to watcha primetime show every week. Ya just gotts go out and get ur freak on.

I am quite depressed that I probably won't be able to go AGAIN. For the last few years I've asked to go but my dad won't take off work. Or it could be to cold, or we would "have" to sit in the upeer deck. Really the only times I get to go which is only a couple times a year (very disappointing), is on sunday afternoon or occasionally sat. night. Day baseball sucks IMO. If I have a damn kid who likes to go to games, then I'm gonna take him to some damn games.

Probably Harris, I can really see ozzie doing good things with him leading off and getting on base. Lee I think was really great at #2. I'd probably go with this for a lineup: 2B Harris LF Lee 1B Thomas RF Magglio DH Konerko SS Valentin CF Rowand 3B Crede C Olivo Thomas will most likely play at the DH, But I say if he plays better at first, then play the man at first. I know we all hope Konerko can bust out. All of this depends on spring training of course, but as of now that is how I see it. Things could get interesting if either Konerko or Jose didn't love up to expectations. If Konerko is somehow bumped, we could play Jose at DH and put Uribe at SS and in the two hole. A Harris/Uribe top of the order has the potential to be dominant as long as they get on base, which is a big IF.

The way I see it, on Friday, people just wanted to get everyting off their chest. If thata meant taking a few semi-shots at Kw and whoever, so be it. Now I think people are just getting over the offseason and looking forward to baseball. Its just that, like KW said, they have a strong passion for the sox.
