What makes you want to pull your hair out more?
I'll eat my shoe before I watch another Yanks/Sawx series.

To Ipod or not to Ipod that is the question...
I have an old and I have had to return it four times. That being said, I have heard nothing but good things about the new ones as far as durability is concerned.

Iowa State to the Big Ten? Utah to the Big XII?
QUOTE(Felix @ May 8, 2006 -> 12:56 AM) You got something to say about Minnesota being weak?! Their not weak but they are, and always will be, mediocre.

Popularity of WSox other than in Chicago
I have seen that the Mets are big in D.C, but I don't think I have ever met a Mets fan before in my entire life.

Charlie Haeger to likely start Wednesday
I am just as worried as the next guy, and Jose has been by far the most solid pitcher this season probably in the majors. However, in the grand scheme of things missing 2-3 starts will not kill us and it is much more important to have him healthy for October.

Tyson Chandler
Curry seems like a baby horse, his legs are still unstable and he just looks like he randomly falls sometimes.

Your Kansas City Royals
QUOTE(UC76 @ May 6, 2006 -> 03:17 PM) With the Royals in town, I thought this was an interesting take on the owner, David Glass, who sounds like a real piece of s--t... Of course, I hope the Sox rout the Royals every time out, but that said, it's a shame that wastes of space like Glass get to ruin all the fun for people in Kansas City. I remember when the Royals used to be consistently good in the '80s. You can't raise payroll when your team isn't making enough money. I know every team would like a payroll like the Yankees, but you don't want to bankrupt your franchise. Without a salary cap the league will continue to have a level of teams that just cannot sustain sucess for more than a year or two.

Royals @ Sox
Can't blame Podsenik for that one, the left fielder is usually the worst fielder anyway.

All-Star Balloting Begins
QUOTE(korntownballa @ May 5, 2006 -> 06:04 AM) What happens if you vote for every white sox player? Death by firing squad.

What was better
I'd say Iguchi's, simply because that was more of a skillful play. Crede's catch was a great one too, but it was more a result clumsyness and getting lucky as a result.

5/5: Sox vs Royals
QUOTE(Reddy @ May 6, 2006 -> 12:20 AM) yeah like Florida And their $12 million payroll.

5/5: Sox vs Royals
I think there is minor league teams better than KC.

Easy way to start an argument in Chicago.
Giordanos, is the best on this list. I would have to say the best frozen pizza is Home Run Inn, and if you can find it I highly recommend East Side Cafe.

For your amusement...
No matter how Joe gets, if he ever does, it never would have happened in a White Sox uniform.

Fantasy Dilemma
I know it is hard because I seem to have the same problem with Crosby, every year I draft him he gets hurt early comes back and looks really good for about two months and gets hurt again. However I would have to drop Nevin he is just not that appealing.

Damn sens and Buffalo is going to an exciting and high score series, Sabres score 35 seconds in.

are you kidding me? 60 mil
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ May 5, 2006 -> 07:22 PM) I think that was a joke idonno but Barkley said he thinks its probably closer to 20 million rather than 60. I agree completely, I just don't know how one man could gamble away so much. Plus that much money makes the book look that much more interesting.

"significant changes" coming soon to the KC Royals
With the current economic structure, and terrible farm system the Royals have they have no chance for a least another seven years.

I hope Calgary wins, that would be an awesome series between Calgary and Edmonton in the battle for Alberta.

Pujols, God's gift to hitting
I don't think he will break any home run records because everyone hits a wall and he will go through at least one month when he hits less than 5 homers.
