  1. QUOTE(ptatc @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 08:38 PM) Listen to Steve Courson talk. He has had a heart transplant and a liver transplant due to his abuse of steroids in the NFL. How about Lyle Alzado who deid of a brain tumor caused from the steriods. While its true that there has been no clinical trails to definitively state steriods will kill you (as stated at the hearings) the evidence is growing as the NFL players from the late 70's to early 90's get older. We will see how many die early. Todd Bell from the Bears in the 80's died of a heart attack at the age of 46. While this does occur in the normal population it shouldn't occur in a man of his fitness level at the time of death. I'm not saying he was on steriods for sure butt watch the deaths of NFL players from the time period when they had a minimal steriod policy and it may change your mind. yeah key word in there... ABUSE
  2. QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) I've never used them.. but I know people who have and I've seen them destroy several lives. Steff I didnt mean to make that seem like I was directing it to you, I forgot I hit quote
  3. QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 08:36 PM) Absolutely. Everyone that was using knows everyone else that was (is) using. And for the record.. in case it's not clear.. it is my opinion that Sosa and Mark both used roids. My friend told me that Mac admitted to using roids? He could have been mistaken but he said that Mark admitted to using them today.. sorry if someone already mentioned this, I cant skim this huge thread..
  4. QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) Your friends are very lucky.. from what I've seen first hand anyway. Unless any of you have ever used steroids.. you dont know what your talking about thats all I have to say about it
  5. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 08:30 PM) I hope you meant to put that in green, and your repsonse to it also. If you are truly serious with that statement...I feel sorry for you. im dead serious, there should be no green there..
  6. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 08:17 PM) Can I ask you a few questions? Do you think illegal substances such as heroine, weed, crack, ecstacy are cool as well? Do you think that operating machinery or vehicles under the influence of such is cool? What is your definition of cool? The fact that 17% of roid users can grow an addiction to me is not cool. The fact that those who become addicted can suffer severe depression leading to suicide during withdrawal is not cool. The fact that over 50% of the wrestlers who were roids users during the Hogan era are dead is not cool. The data is overwhelming that continued roid usage will lead to an ever decreasing quality of life is not cool. Maybe ignorance is cool :rolly did I say those other things were cool? No I did not.. I dont understand where you get operating machinery while under the influence from what I said, I think I made it pretty clear what I was talking about.. Give me a list, with the EXACT percentage of wrestlers who have died from steroids since the Hogan era with proof it was caused from steroids.. without that I dont believe that bulls***.. so far, from what I have witnessed with my friends.. it has not "decreased" any qulaity in their life..
  7. QUOTE(Tmar28 @ Mar 17, 2005 -> 07:59 PM) wow you are blatantly wrong your opinion but I know im not the only person who feels that way
  8. they should just fix the suspensions, this is getting played out.. they are making too big of a deal over steroids, steroids are cool and I would reccomend all young people looking to get bigger to take them..
  9. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 8, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) Thomas Davis ahead of both Pool and Shazor is also pretty bad...likely a 2nd round pick. Gruden loves Cadillac. No way he makes it past 5. Also, Williamson at 7? Isn't that like taking Clarett on day 1, or like taking me in the draft period? He is good, but if he goes in the top 10, I will eat my shoe...or be drafted by an NFL team, I'm not sure which. I shouldn't have even looked. I thought my draft may have been a little crazy...ROFL. Thomas Davis is the best S in the draft just to correct you there wite

They put those guys in a bunch of movies. Jay: Who? Holden: You know, those kids from Good Will Hunting? Jay: You mean that f***in' movie with Mork from Ork in it? Holden: Yeah, I wasn't a big fan either... but Affleck was the bomb in "Phantoms". Jay: Word, b****, Phantoms like a mothaf***er. --------------------- Jay: [singing] f***, f***, f***, / Mother, mother f***, / Mother, mother f***, f*** / Mother f***, mother f***, / Noich noich noich, / 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, / Noich, noich noich / Smokin' weed, smokin' wizz, / Doin' coke, drinkin' beers, / Drinkin' beers, beers, beers, / Rollin' fattys, smokin' blunts, / Who smokes the blunts? / We smoke the blunts. / Rollin' blunts and smokin'... 12. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 08:50 PM) We agree on all those points. well you said they are fairly consistent, when they pretty much arent at all thats what I was saying.. And the Arizona comment wasnt for you, my bad
  13. Man this movie is going to be awesome... whats the exact release date? I think I missed it if it was posted in here
  14. holy crap Carlos is killing the ball... thats awesome.. I cant wait to see him when they come to Houston
  15. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 14, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) Digger thinks that as well. I have to disagree. By the way, does anyone else think this is an extremely tough bracket? If Illinois wants to make it to St. Louis they are going to have their work cut out for them. Texas- Fairly consistent. Nevada- TOUGH. This is a damn good basketball team that isn't really getting talked about. Arizona- Extremely difficult. Scares the hell out of me. Oklahoma St.- Real good team. Actually, an argument for a #1 seed can be made for the Cowboys. When they are on, they are real tough. We are really going to have to play our best to make it out of Chicago. Texas sucks man.. they have been a huge dissapointment all year.. got bounced out by Colorado in the conference tourny.. Living down here in Texas I can tell you UT is not consistent, and they will prolly lose to Nevada also Arizona is more scary than OSU
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 05:28 PM) WOW, Minn. a #8. holy s***, I was about to post the same thing
  17. QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 05:18 PM) So there gonna lose 2? Im only one off. haha whatever man..
  18. QUOTE(He_Gawn @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 05:17 PM) There bracket is f***ing tough. OSU will beat them if they get that far. just like Illinois losing 3 games this season? besides, Illinois has a pretty easy trip to face either Arizona or OK State
  19. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 13, 2005 -> 05:15 PM) Illinois is f***ed. how?
  20. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jan 28, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) Here's one for MoS hahahaha that is awesome
