    New Rap War?

QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 06:15 PM) ^yeah that^ i think its ridiculous how 50 is dissing almost everybody with little reason to do so on his albums 50 is the s***, he can diss whoever he wants His new CD is even better than his first
  2. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 05:25 PM) I understand why you would say that but Miami still hasn't changed from Benson to Brown. Brown got himself a lot of money from his Combine workouts but I wouldn't doubt Miami still takes Benson. You never know what can happen. lolerz Saban already said they are taking the BPA, and after the Combine im almost positive that its Brown Benson is gonna be a good back, BUT Brown can run, block, catch, and ran a damn 4.3 at the Combine... He has better size than Benson and it would be foolish to take Benson after seeing Brown at the combine.. Besides, Miami still may Alex Smith instead.. BUT if its a RB my money is on Brown.. he does it all and thats what will fit best into Linehans system
  3. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 03:40 PM) Thanks for pointing that out, Einstein. uhhh... its not Einstein either... man, your wayyyy off
  4. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) Thank you for your analysis, Andy Katz. my name isnt Andy..
  5. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) Yeah they lost to those teams, but you have to take that into account. Should IU have lightened up the schedule a bit? Probably. But they held up in some of those tough games, and you can't just look at it as "another loss" when you are playing teams of those caliber. Aboz is right, if they would have creampuffed their schedule and had 4-5 more wins instead of losses vs great teams, they'd probly be in for sure. The more i think about it, the more IU should be in they dont deserve to be in... 14 - 11 and losses to almost all the good teams you played should not get you in cause you "hung in there"
  6. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 03:32 PM) This discussion would be moot if they packed their schedule full of early season creampuffs, much like Duke and many other top programs do, but instead they decided to play UK, UNC, at UConn, Charlotte, at Mizzou and Notre Dame. but they lost to all those teams.. doesnt make much good to beat all the easy teams you play and then lose to all the tough/solid teams and expect to slip in.. it COULD happen, but I doubt it will.. I mean of course if they do good in the tourny they could get in, but I dont think thats gonna happen.. beating Wisconsin when they come to your place is nothing special.. they suck on the road.. MSU was a solid win for them though
  7. QUOTE(Tmar28 @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 02:46 PM) yea i was losing in the top of the ninth and the game froze that makes 2 freezes and 1 game completed thats because computer sucks.. XBOX = teh l33t
  8. I agree with Spiff Ill take Walker on my team any day if hes gonna put up 20+ ppg also Quentin Richardson would always have spot on my team.. Leads the league in 3 pointers made and is also the NBA three point champ.. Im looking at two of you b****es about this
  9. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Feb 27, 2005 -> 03:03 PM) Committee will look at us a 15-10 though. That's what he's saying. You obviously don't know this because this is probably the first time you've watched IU basketball all year. However, Charlotte was able to spin, dribble, and shoot in .7 seconds in result of a late start of the clock. That shot cost IU the game by a point, and the committee will definitely take that in consideration. Even your favorite I suck the ACC's Dick Vitale, Jay Bilas, etc. have all said the same. I dont know how you can argue with Butter on this... Your 14 - 11.. I dont think IU will be going to the tournament.. I also doubt the committee will be like "Oh well Charlotte hit a lucky shot to win so well just pretend that IU won that game and let them slide on into the tourny and knock out a team that really deserves to be there" doubt it... IU = NIT bound
  10. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 05:10 PM) FWIW, 4.82 was Clarett's slowest time. He also ran a 4.72...which is still embarrassing. it doesnt matter... the guy said he was in the best shape of his life and changed his routine, im faster than him and I have to go to school and do s*** like that all he has done is train for 2 years and there is a 260 lb RB that runs a 4.48 and Clarett barely sniffs 4.70 go home clarett, you will not be drafted
  11. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 07:45 PM) TRU...it was 4.77? I saw 4.72 at NFL Draft Countdown. Both are very poor times, regardless. the guys that were doing the combine live said it was 4.77, but that might have been unofficial i just wrote what i heard
  12. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) It will be hard to pass on Benson at 2. I think if Brown is around at 4 the Bears have to consider him. SB after today, that is switched.. brown will be hard to pass
  13. QUOTE(shagar69 @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 02:23 PM) where are u gettin these times I watched the Combine this morning also Addy Theres no way Miami will take Benson over Brown now Brown not only has better size, but he can also catch, block, and just ran a 4.32 I do not see how its possible to take Benson over Brown after watching the combine, I have fallen in love with Brown and pray that Miami feels the same way
  14. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 01:27 PM) 4.82? Yeah he has changed and is working real hard :rolly haha i know, Im faster than Clarett also Slowik, Browns performance today at the combine may have just cemented him at the Dolphins pick at #2, if they pass on Smith and take Brown i will be so happy.. I hope Brown goes to either Miami or Chicago, that would be so awesome
  15. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) Stats. 2000 Arizona Cardinals 14 4 112 373 3.3 29 2 1 23 2001 Arizona Cardinals 16 2 112 380 3.4 21 5 1 22 2002 Arizona Cardinals 9 9 138 511 3.7 58 2 2 21 2003 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16 3 137 627 4.6 61 3 2 25 2004 Chicago Bears 14 14 240 948 4.0 54 7 2 49 TOTAL 69 32 739 2839 3.8 61 19 8 140 I'd agree, not Mr. Reliable. Not #7 material, but a very capable back. There was a reason so many teams were looking at him this past season. He has loads of talent. He would have been a 1000 yd. rusher this season injury permitting, thats good. Injuries messed up those career numbers, for both the Cards and Bucs. Correct, he is a solid RB.. I just saw your mr Reliable and Fantastic and scoffed at it
  16. Ronnie Browns fastest time was 4.32 down right crazy, he may have pushed himself into the first RB taken spot
  17. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 12:30 PM) Cheat, WR Agree. Train>Jones Absolutely not. Jones is the RB of the future here in Chicago. Jones is a very, very strong and skilled runner. He has been Mr. Reliable throughout his career and has been fantastic since his days in college. Train is gone. Edwards=Terrell :headshake :headshake :headshake You have to be f***ing kidding me. This is insanity. Comparing the two because they are both from Michigan is downright ignorance. Edwards is an awesome talent coming out of the college game. His size and playmaking abilites are unmatched by any current Bears WR. This is just goofy. He has an awesome attitude, a first-class work ethic and has shown signs of greatness. Why not let Jim Miller have another try? No. George looked crisp in practice and should get another shot. He can still play and I expect the Bears to carry 4 QBs on the roster next season. Hutchinson is the backup. The Bears are very high on this guy and think a full pre-season will do him very well. He can be a capable backup in the NFL. Say no to Kurt Warner. Agree. uhhh I think you need to go think that over a little more... Theres a reason Jones is on his 3rd team already, he was a HUGE bust as the #7 overall pick He has not been Mr Reliable nor has he been anything close to fantastic
  18. I have to put it in here not enough people check out the NFL War Room thing... Ronnie Browns fastest time... 4.32 (this was just simply amazing, he just got himself a TON of money) Maurice Clarett...... :headshake 4.82 and 4.77 second run
  19. QUOTE(Credepopsup @ Feb 26, 2005 -> 12:35 PM) Did he run backwards? lmao, the Fullbacks were faster than him Ronnie Brown was SMOKING with a 4.40 JJ Arrington ran a 4.49
  20. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Feb 24, 2005 -> 07:26 PM) Well, a lot of the guys ranking anywhere from 8-15 ay any given position really look to impress at combines; a lot of times, its guys you would expect, but more times than not, the no-name prospects are the ones that put together really outstanding combines. Believe it or not, a lot of teams already have their minds set on who they like or don't like by just having watched film. I know we stress the importance of combines, but really, they are for guys coming off injuries or stuck behind the depth charts at stacked universites. Some guys to watch: Gore (RB Miami), Williams (WR ex-USC), Clarett (RB ex-OSU), Spears (DL LSU), Merriman (DE MARY), Rodgers (QB CAL), McPherson (QB Arena), Jones (CB WVU), Rolle (CB Miami) I also threw a quick list together on the guys I think are going to get exposed during combines. Orovsky (QB UConn) McLendon (RB NCST) McFadden (CB FSU) Look for all three of those guys to get nailed with the "overrated" tag. Personally, I want to see what kind of combines Gore, Williams, Clarett, Alex Smith, Derrick Johnson, and Antrel Rolle...also Cedric Benson and Ronnie Brown to a lesser degree have. Benson chose not to work out... Ronnie Brown just ran a 4.40 40
  21. Clarett just ran a 4.82 40 at the combine!!!!! bah hahaha
  22. QUOTE(farmteam @ Feb 25, 2005 -> 07:11 PM) My best guess is that it was originally the Twins. haha yeah he was, but the thing that gets me is the "Nothing too Drastic though" he reshaped the entire team, there is like 5-6 Twins left..
  23. lmfao I just read this guys post on IGN and thought it was funny
  24. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Feb 25, 2005 -> 05:39 PM) The history of a school doesn't matter in a given year. That has no bearing on how good this team or in any way affect what they have done. By that logic UCLA and Indiana are teams to be reckoned with this year, and clearly they aren't. Just face the facts, Duke isn't as good as they normally are and Illinois has a very good team this year. Several of those wins you are recounting aren't even that solid. Georgia Tech has been struggling all year and has an RPI of only 53. Miami is at 48, Virginia Tech is at a measly 89, and NC State is at a seriously unimpressive 111. Plus, all of their quality wins came at home, and they got swept by a Maryland team that hasn't done much other than beat Duke twice. Duke is far from the powerhouse they normally are, so unless the NCAA creates a new rule allowing Elton Brand and Shane Battier to play in the tournament this year, they're not going to beat Illinois on a neutral court. and by the way things are looking Illinois is going to be in a home setting for all their tournament games
  25. QUOTE(Tmar28 @ Feb 25, 2005 -> 04:58 PM) hey whats the ratings and stuff you guys used for iguchi? and also did anyone change sox players ratings so they were more realistic? I made him 70 contact vs RHP 77 vs LHP 60 power vs RHP 67 power vs LHP and then gave him decent everything else
