  2. I've never been on the Upper Deck, but I always think it really can't be THAT bad. It's still live baseball.
  3. Cool! I'm the Supply Officer! How you doing Sat, I should post on the MLB boards more often. (In case you didn't know, I'm Konan12) Your going to get me all confused with these different handles. How it's going with the supplies and all, do we have any left? Sorry, I should probably change my MLB one to this as well, don't want any more mix-ups. We have plenty of stress relievers, we may need them! Got plenty of mixies and drinkies for HSC. Plenty of paper to pencil home to your families. Tell them about your excellent voyage! We have plenty of meat in the freezer for Keaddy to make some nice dinners for celebrations, with wine and stuff. And, if we win the division, we have lots of White Sox related party gear for a giant party in the mess hall! That sounds good, but you didn't mention how we are doing on toliet paper. That could cause really BIG problems if we run out of that item. *runs out to Target* 30 minutes later... *returns with a bunch of bags, but not telling what is inside* Yep, we're fine with toilet paper.
  4. Eeewuuu. Party in the "mess hall". That sounds gross! Want to have it on the deck then?

  8. Yankee fans ARE scared s***less of us. Just like we're scared s***less of the Mariners. I want the Red Sox to win the wildcard, we have much better luck against them. Here's what I would prefer... Yankees White Sox Red Sox A's We beat the Yankees, and the Red Sox beat the A's. (It would be nice to skip them, they are the team I fear the most in the AL, besides the Mariners) Then in the ALCS we play Boston, and hopefully beat them so I can rub it in the face of my friend who will not stop saying that Boston will win the World Series, then we'd go onto the World Series and see what happens there, preferably a White Sox winner.
  9. If they clinch, you can almost guarantee they'll be resting some of their top players. Kansas City has been slumping for awhile, I now expect them to finish the season strong, and this includes the series against us. The games against KC are not going to be a cake walk.
  10. Remember the Kansas City series at Kauffman, the Yankee series in New York, and even the beginning of the Mariner series in Seattle? This team can play on the road, and I fully expect them to take 2 out of 3, or sweep.
  11. I agree, off days are very boring, especially when you're sick at home with nothing to do. But, they can be very useful. Rest the bullpen, skip the 5th starter, regain yourself.
  12. WHo does this guy play for now?
  13. 1) Who will win the series (CHW/BOS) (2 points)?Red Sox 2) Which team will hit more homeruns (CHW/BOS) (2 points)?Red Sox 3) How many errors will the Sox make (4 points)?3 4) Who will lead the Sox in runs scored (4 points)?Lee 5) How many extra base hits will the White Sox have (5 points)?10 6) How many pitches will Bartolo Colon throw (3 either way) (5 points)?98 7) Which bullpen pitcher will face the most batters (4 points)?Schoeneweis 8) Will Mark Buehrle pitch in to the 7th inning (Y/N) (2 points)?Nope 9) Who will lead the AL Central after the series (2 points)?Twins 10) Who will have more hits Magglio Ordonez or Bill Mueller (2 points)?Mueller TIEBREAKER: Total runs scored by both teams during the series 34 Blah
  14. Anything to counter BE GOODs horrible thread.
  15. I'll say this, we have a 20-25% chance of winning this division. I think that's reasonable.
  16. And sometimes it doesn't. Hope for the best!
  17. If I were Hawk, I wouldn't have even said "You can put it on the board, yes!" or "He Gone" on that strike out in the 9th.
  18. Boston has an off day today, plus they have won the last two. They have momentum. We need to scrape some momentum out of a barrel and do well in Boston. I am worried, the odds are against us.
  19. Oh my! 5-2, that'll help us a lot. Can you HEAR the crowd? Neither can I.
