  1. QUOTE(Butter Parque @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 02:40 PM) I could really care less about ESPN, according to them, there is 4 teams in major league baseball, the Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, and the Barry Bonds'. They'll have to talk about us when we're in the playoffs. Then I guess you shouldn't have clicked on this topic, then.
  2. Yes he does... Translation: Maybe we'll have to mention them on ESPN in discussion about the AL Central.
  3. Uribe THROWIN some leather to get Lew Ford!! Slow chopper...quick transfer from glove to hand and a connon throw to 1st!
  4. Scotty is on 3rd if he didn't steal. I like this new attitude!!!
  5. QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:56 PM) On gameday it looks like they both struck out on bad pitches? They were great change-ups that dropped out of the zone at the last moment.
  6. That's 3 K's in a row for Lee. He looks like he's getting into a groove.
  7. Hawk ranting on Marriotti... this is always fun...
  8. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) Eeep. How this team keeps winning is beyond me. If Skiles isn't coach of the year, Frank Thomas is a skinny 98 pound white boy. That was before he took all those Steroids...
  9. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) I'm not complaining, but let's not run ourselves out of innings either. Good steal if no risk, a passed ball brings you home, but it would be really dumb to get tossed at 3rd for the third out. Scotty wouldn't have run, if he thought they were holding him on. Trust me, if he's on second again in this game, either the 2nd baseman or the SS will be standing there with him.
  10. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:44 PM) that what
  11. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:44 PM) 2 outs and he's in scoring position, why steal? Were they not holding him on? he knew they weren't holding him on. Plus this increases his chanes on scoring... Wild Pitch, pass ball, error..etc. He's a very smart baserunner
  12. Scotty with a single and a bad play by Coco 2nd and 3rd 1 out with the gooch up!
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 11:30 AM) I'm telling you.. all this stupid ass ignorant generalization s*** is really starting to piss me off. How many games do you go to...? I live in Plainfield.. it's 60 effing miles home. 50+ times a year we make that drive. You are preaching to the effing choir here.. go b**** at the ones that do make excuses. Clearly.. they don't post here. Damn straight.
  14. QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 10:18 AM) Umm.. did Paul not lead the team last year with 41 homers (going from memory here so please don't kill me if I'm off by a few... ) ? That can't be true Steff. We lost all of our power in the off-season. Damn you KW!!
  15. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 08:52 AM) No, Its looking at both sides of the coin.. Yeah I am a sox fan, but I don't close my eyes to see what the truth is.. Most do, they let their Loyaity cloud the truth. So using your logic... If the Sox won the 7th game of the World Series the same way. It would suck, because they should have lost it. :headshake
  16. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 08:25 AM) lol great. Hey this is a stupid question, but I've never known why he's call Jurrasic Carl. Can somebody fill me in? Carl was quoted back in Boston saying because of his beliefs, he doubts Dinosaurs ever existed. That's the short version.
  17. QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 07:05 AM) ChiSoxy, isn't some of this more a linguistic issue than a sex act definition? I agree. These kids seem like Cunning Linguists!
  18. QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Apr 4, 2005 -> 11:46 PM) I enjoyed it but I still don't think Carl is convinced. What will it take?!? Even being trampled won't convince him!
  19. Oh the horror! Now do you believe...eh, Carl?!? Dino Attack!

    Sin City

I think this perfectly captures how great this film was... This is a portion of Harry Knowles' review from aintitcool.com Describing Mickey Rourke as "Marv": I couldn't have said it better myself. This film grabs you by the balls, shakes you for two hours and then buys you a beer! Full review here
  21. QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 08:29 AM) LOL... Mike suggested I become a BMac groupie for my new job. You can follow him around the country...like the Grateful Dead.
