Dude’s splitter is nails tonight. Having trouble spotting his fastball but doesn’t matter much the way he’s keeping them off balance. Looking like a tough one tonight.

Ha! There was some promotion involving dominos (the game) and Schriff took the opportunity to mention how cool it is to go to the Dominican, praising the music and culture, with the men everywhere playing dominos in public and slamming the bones left and right. Stoney said the only dominos he knows is the pizza. W for the Schriff dog. If you’ve ever learned to play dominos, his description sounds incredible. If you’re an old, incorrigible white dude who hates his biracial partner, you bring up the pizza. Bad look for the Stone Pony.

Ishbia clearly has an incredibly strong and imaginative team pulling all the right levers and running down every possible lead to get what Justin wants on the best terms possible. It’s really eye-opening to watch this whole thing progress to better understand how the “game” is played by these multi-billion dollar investment firms.

Definitely not full of s%*#….showed several pitches. What’s interesting is his game log doesn’t show that any other team caught this, if he’s been doing it for a while. At least, I don’t see anything damning in the game log

Probably a bit premature to post this, but Doyle just might be a dude. He’s been pretty impressive showing some pop, speed, and excellent defense. If Peters doesn’t get it going again, Doyle has been an everyday player in his career and probably deserves to get back to being an everyday player with the Sox.

f*** if I know. He’s an MLB starter who isn’t a power hitter…he sure better be able to bunt men over.

You bunt that ball up the 3b line and Quero advances without issue. Hell, even a good pull bunt does the trick.

I can only imagine he thought the odds of Aam getting a base knock were greater than Acuna or Peter’s getting the ball in the air deep enough for a sac fly. I STRONGLY disagree with that bet. Like, am I having a senior moment or has it been a very long time since we’ve bunted a runner over in extras at home?

I love Sam, but he failed to get the runner over. Nice AB but with Quero left standing at 2b, that’s a failed AB. Fouled off several cookies. I’m a strong Will supporter but he’s had a rough couple of weeks. He treats handedness like a religion except one it comes to his favorites. His favorites, aka Grich, is like the last guy you lose your religion for.

I find those numbers shocking, honestly. July he had a .653 OPS, .750 so far in August. I think it's these numbers that make me believe he's not hitting..... Runners on this season, a .607 OPS RISP this season, a .404 OPS
