Our outfielders better watch out. That Anderson kid is tearing it up down there, 3-4 tonight with a triple.

5/4 Games
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 4, 2007 -> 08:43 PM) Until his one meltdown game. I don't believe you're officially a White Sox prospect until fans begin to have faith in your abilities, then you have a game resembling Felix Diaz. What's important now is how Gonzalez rebounds. I'd feel a lot better if I heard his changeup or curveball wasn't on. Or that he had some bad cheese for lunch.

The bottom of the lineup f***ing sucks.

5/4 Games
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ May 4, 2007 -> 08:27 PM) Yeah, I advise everyone not to monitor Gonzalez's start. It's bad. REAL bad. I suppose this is the wakeup call for anyone expecting a clear path for Gonzalez to the majors. He is a White Sox prospect, after all. We still have Eggy.

BA Sighting
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 3, 2007 -> 10:49 PM) Russell isn't striking guys out at a particularly great rate in the early going -- it's still early, though, so by season's end he might be fine -- but his GB/FB ratio is about as good as Egbert's so far. I don't think JAG can continue to be as dominant as they've been so far, but it's nice that two relatively unknown guys have stepped up. Also good to see Gio bounce back from his mediocre year last season. Also, I don't know what's in the water down in Charlotte, but those guys need to get their heads out of their asses. Fields is hitting .200, Sweeney wasn't doing a heckuva lot better, Haeger's been awful, Broadway's hurt and Floyd has been the opposite of what he told us he'd be (poor GB/FB ratio specifically, and a bad WHIP). f*** yes, it stuck.

Federer, Nadal do 'Battle of Surfaces'
Neato. Federer is still as dominant as anyone I've seen in a sport with the exception of Nadal and that one other guy who beats him.

Anyone else currently regreting letting Ross Gload go?
A trade can actually help both teams.

trade for an outfielder
If KW could pull off that coup, I'd personally fellate him. Ethier is a stud in the making.

Ryan Rote. Kannapolis Intimdators. Future?
It's really just tough to tell at this point. He does seem to be improving this year, but it's always pretty hard to get a grasp on what an organization will do with relievers.

MLB to address blackouts
QUOTE(danman31 @ May 3, 2007 -> 01:02 AM) We've been over this. Missouri>Iowa. It's not even really debatable. I know we have St. Louis, but KC isn't bad lol. Both cities are trying to escape the state, trying to make it to someplace better.
