Iowa State @ Northern Iowa tonight. UNI is favored by 7. Ben Jacobson texted McDermott, saying he wouldn't throw the ball to Crawford down low if we don't set ball screens for Mike Taylor, who, by the way, dropped a combined 47 in the second halff of the Minnesota game and the first half of the last game before being rested. Row, I'm going to be disappointed if we don't get a win, just as I would if SIll was our rival. If the Salukis came into Hilton, I expect to win.

So, I still have no idea how we got Coach Chizik.... Unseasonably warm weather in Ames with highs in the 60s?

We have competent MBB, WBB, FB and WR coaches now.....spectacular.

The latest rumblings are towards Gene Chizik.

The ISU coach picture is a clusterf***. There's stuff going around with our AD saying our new coach's name hasn't been said in the media. Sites have reported its Kelly for sure, but there's some deafening silence, and other sites have made partial retractions.

Iowa State has a new head football coach. Smart money is on Central Michigan head coach Brian Kelly, but there is also a chance it is LSU defensive coordinator Bo Pelini. Apparently we got our #1 choice, which makes me think it might be Pelini. That and the fact that Kelly still has at least two games to coach while Pelini is still a coordinator. At least, I sure hope it's Bo.

Iowa State crushes something called Lake Superior State, 90-61. Taylor finished with 22 pts, but the walkons started playing in the first half.
