  1. Feedback anyone? Am I that much worse that Jason?
  2. I also got Cliff's rehab stints wrong. Instead of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, it's Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.
  3. Was that when the Krush showed up two years ago?
  4. They also discuss the Sean Tracey incident, David Riske and Cliff Politte. Enjoy boys and girls.
  5. http://www.soxtalk.com/frontpage/html/modu...rveys&pollID=17 Greasy totally came up with this one. Discuss here.
  6. OK, the Swiss either need a tie or win or a Togo tie or win to advance.
  7. QUOTE(BabyJesus69 @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 10:42 AM) something tells me that the 7 home losses you had last year would indicate something other than that Come now, even when ISU was a bowl team and Iowa sucked Ferentz's first few years, don't you think people would still have rather gone to JT than Kinnick? Last year was by far the low water mark for Hilton. WM couldn't coach at home. I don't know why.
  8. QUOTE(beautox @ Jun 19, 2006 -> 12:27 PM) Quick Question do you consider Brian a 5 tool player? I do, he hasn't lived up to his potential yet but he will. If you're going by these five tools: 1) hitting for average, 2) hitting for power, 3) running speed, 4) arm strength and 5) fielding ability He's got the last 3 down. He's not ungodly fast, but he's fast enough. There's absoultely no questioning the fielding ability, and he hasn't had much of an opportunity to showcase his arm.

    Yeah, tell him to start loving Kannapolis as a whole and real soon.
  10. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/mil...2006/ballot.jsp Guys like Fields and Phillips deserve to be starting. Fields and Young currently lead at 3B and DH. You can vote for pitchers as well.

    Ricks is finally showing a f***ing pulse.

    We're more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
  13. With the France Korea draw, it seems like the Swiss, with a win over Togo, should be in pretty good position, provided they can tie with Korea or beat them, or if Togo can tie or beat France, if I understand that right. Either way....go Suisse.

    QUOTE(rangercal @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 10:41 PM) SOXTALK ROCKX I concur.
  15. The 2006 Sox are 3 games back of the 2005 Sox.
  16. So it sounds like he could be activated, but possibly not play.
  17. It's his body of work that factors into this. The fact he's always willing to say something negative about the Sox. Contreras has been remarkably consistent since the end of last year.
  18. We're tired of hearing about her too.
  19. QUOTE(Hatchetman @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 06:12 PM) corner OF'ers are a dime a dozen compared to decent 3B. Fields makes Crede look like Brooks Robinson
  20. Det is 15-3 vs Cle and KC Sox are 11-10 versus those two. There ya go.

  22. QUOTE(MnSoxFan @ Jun 18, 2006 -> 03:45 PM) Nope, he is starting at Great Falls per Bobby Tolan, the mgr for the Great Falls team, said he was promised McColloch would be there by the 24th. Look for power from Chris Carter the 1B-3B, lot of power. Christian Acosta is a good hitter too. Wow, that's not in line at all with what they've done with past #1s lately. You think he'd go to Kanny to give their starting pitchers a shot in the arm at the least.
  23. But, nope, none of the Career-First Half Tigers is a candidate to regress.
  24. Series Preview: White Sox vs. Cardinals By Zach Hansen The White Sox come back to Chicago to host the St. Louis Cardinals, following a scorching 6-1 road trip. The upcoming series with the NL Central leader is intriguing for Sox fans for several reasons. Tony LaRussa, the manager of the 1983 Winning Ugly White Sox returns to the Southside of Chicago for the first time since 2000. On Wednesday, Mark Buehrle gets his first career start against his childhood team, and Cardinals’ slugger Albert Pujols may possibly return for the series. READ MORE
