  1. First chance to sit down and actually watch a Sox game in a long while - shitty stuff life throws your way sometimes gets in the way!
  2. So are McCann and Tilson 1-2 in MVP voting?
  3. Any good reason for Lucas to come back out though? I have to imagine he has a one baserunner limit.
  4. Honestly though (not saying he's fixed) but its why you give him every shot for a while.
  5. Giolito being good is a thing that's pretty big for our squadron
  6. Good bumper music right there
  7. Jason has definitely improved this year. Farmer and DJ are an acquired taste.
  8. Rick should have assured us that James McCann would be the best hitting catcher in baseball
  9. He certainly acquitted himself nicely and has earned the spot for now.
  10. I don't want to commit to Yonder long term but I do like dingers
  11. Never mind. At least, to this point, Manny doesn't make me want to break things.
  12. The creamy center of the Orioles lineup is squaring Manny up a bit better.
  13. This game from his sophomore year in 2017 is a decent representation of what he can do against a team with some NFL caliber players.

  15. I agree with your philosophy too.
  16. He's decent in the passing game but room to grow. Pass blocking has issues at times. Iowa State didn't use him beyond a swing pass or safety valve. He's not fast, his deal has always been how hard he is to bring down.
  17. Scouting report: Culture changer, literally one of the biggest reasons Iowa State went from laughing stock to third place in the Big 12 last year. One of the toughest running backs in the nation to bring down. Not fast and probably wouldn't even call him quick, but he's instinctive. Very useful in the pass game, though he's got room to grow there. Great ball security - two lost fumbles in two years, and the first one was a bad call, he'd crossed the goal line. His ejection against Baylor last year for fighting is a non-concern. Not a great blocker, though not due to effort. Was used a lot at Iowa State, so there's a few miles on the odometer. If you have any questions, let me know, I've obviously watched him more than anyone here.
  18. Your new running back is my favorite player I've EVER seen come through Iowa State. I can talk about him for hours. FANTASTIC human being. Hardest worker.
