ISU throttles Drake 90-70 on the road. without one of our top players in LaRon Dendy. Staiger hits 10 3s, Brackins finishes with 21 and Garrett with 12 assists. MVSU and Tennessee State before two games in Chicago that should be against St. Louis and what should be a really fun matchup against Notre Dame. Brackins vs. Harangody could be a blast.

Good news in the short term for everyone not named CU in the North.

CFN has ISU projected in the Insight against Minny. I might scream like a little girl if I get to spend the end of December in Tempe.

I couldn't tell, but it didn't seem like it was enough to overturn it.

QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 14, 2009 -> 08:15 PM) If we play anything like we played today, it won't be close. And, yes, Colorado is awful. It begs the question, how do they have 2 wins in conference? I love me some Gabbert. Of course we all know that the Big 12 North is the one division in college football that we can count on the expected result.

Iowa State bowl eligible. No guarantee of a bowl, but a win over the Fightin' Danmans would seal a bid. On a side note, Colorado is hilariously bad.

ISU throttles Idaho State, 88-68 in a game that was again not that close. I'll take 17 and 6 form LaRon Dendy in just 15 minutes as well. ISU's front three will be formidable.

Got a decent feeling ISU gets bowl eligible tomorrow.

Time for ISU to put the beat down on Idaho State.

So, basically, no one has any clue where he's going, with people absolutely sure he's a Blue Devil, a Tar Heel, and a Cyclone.

Kansas has been dropped, reportedly. Down to Iowa State, UNC, Duke, UCLA and Oklahoma. The shirt isn't a big deal. He'll be an ISU fan wherever he goes.

It's turning into a circus, as Harrison Barnes wore an Iowa State sweatshirt around school today.

Barnes to announce at 3 CT on Friday on ESPNU. Announcement will be open to the public in Ames, which is semi-interesting.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Nov 9, 2009 -> 01:38 PM) Well that's just crazy. I don't know how you did that... I probably won't be going to bed until 3am. If ISU is good at nothing else, we tailgate.

So, I was buying lunch at the Iowa State Memorial Union. Girl across from me bought tea. Apparently, when you buy tea at the MU, it rings up as "1 Hot Tea Bag." I found that comical.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 9, 2009 -> 12:01 PM) Pft, we got up at 3 AM to tailgate for ISU-Iowa at 11:30 AM. And we live in town. In the lots by 5, because you need 6.5 hrs of tailgating.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 6, 2009 -> 07:12 PM) I was using parents in general, but fine, if you want it that way. He's not going to Ames even though his Dad played there(who's not in his life anymore) and his mom works there. I'll make you a sig bet that ISU doesn't end up with him. I'm not saying he ends up at ISU. But I am saying they have been and still are a serious contender for his services. He seemed to be enjoying himself at tonight's game.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 6, 2009 -> 03:44 PM) Yeah, he works out there because his parents work there. I'm sure some football players in the NFL grew up Raiders, Browns, and Lions fans but don't want to play there given the choice. Barnes is working out there because he has unlimited access to the facilities and he's from there. It would make sense for him to workout at the local university over flying to UNC or whatever school he chooses. ISU never had a chance. He's leaving them in his top 6 out of respect for the school, but they were never realistic. Sorry to break it to you. At least get your story straight....his dad does not work for ISU and is not even in Ames. ISU offered him a few years ago. Knowing multiple people that have been friends with Harrison his entire life.......Iowa State is still in the picture.
