  1. The Sox only won one of those games.
  2. Freddy heard we had Danks and wanted in.
  3. Probably would have had higher ratings if we would have just lost a damn game.
  4. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Sep 12, 2009 -> 12:44 PM) I'm not seeing this superior offense Iowa State has compared to Northern Iowa yet. I hope Heads is right and it changes in the 2nd half. That is one of the most painful games I've been to.
  5. Gameday, b****es! Been up for 20 mins.
  6. Getting up at 3:30 AM to tailgate. People waiting in line to get into the student section at 3 PM on Friday. Amazing, I'm not sure where all the excitement is coming from.
  7. Oh my, that flag just made me burst out laughing. You suck, Buffs.
  8. Colorado really really blows.
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Sep 11, 2009 -> 01:04 AM) Iowa's stud tackle Brian Bulaga out for this Saturday against ISU with a heart condition. And KF makes it official. Vegas lines are starting to shift from -7.5 for Iowa to where I thought it should be before, -6.
  10. Iowa's stud tackle Brian Bulaga out for this Saturday against ISU with a heart condition.
  11. Except for Tara Reid.
  12. In other news, Colorado f***ing blows, and Iowa is -7.5 @ ISU. ISU has covered 9 of their last 10 against Iowa, and that line seems pretty high.
  13. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 6, 2009 -> 01:09 PM) That's my point. Most teams that have conference schedules play relative lower talent teams too. Penn State has Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota... USC has Washington, Washington St., Stanford, Arizona, Oregon St... Florida has Vanderbilt, Mississippi St, South Carolina, Auburn, Kentucky... Texas has Kansas St, Texas A&M, Iowa St, Baylor, Colorado... Plus in their non-conference games, they play teams like St Mary's School For Girls, and Broken Pelvis State. We don't play Texas.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 5, 2009 -> 07:33 PM) Sam Bradford looks like he just separated his shoulder. Did he do the D Weezy yell?
  15. GREAT start by Hynick.
  16. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Sep 5, 2009 -> 03:27 PM) I'm not so sure but I hope so. I faced QB Austin Arnaud in baseball while he was pitching. I'm sure. There's no way UNI's offense is comparable to ISU's.
  17. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 5, 2009 -> 03:08 PM) Stanzi looked good, we have receivers and Robinson had some flashes. They clearly miss Jewel but the defense is going to get better and will be one of the best defenses in college football again. I still expect a top 20 season for the Hawkeyes. ISU's offense is a notch above UNI's, I'll guarantee you that.
  18. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 5, 2009 -> 03:07 PM) No they won't. They'll win the game. 7 days, Gage. I expect Iowa to be 6 point favorites.
  19. Wow, this could be extra epic.
  20. UNI, you got your shot here.
  21. Next week should be a close game.
