Would be fucking MASSIVE. They have three good starters lined up in Tolle, Gray, and Suarez. Cleveland is due for a series loss or at least one loss. A sweep would be like the clouds parting. If the Sox win out and take these next 6 games and still don’t win the division, I’ll be disappointed still but will probably be able to forgive their earlier missed opportunities.

Awesome sign seeing Peters put in today to check off running, fielding, and throwing from his list of recovery items. Maybe he’s going to be set to come back sooner and we’ll see him starting a game or two in KC. During today’s 4th inning broadcast, the update is: Bruising still along the chest up into the shoulder. Next step is for him to begin running, likely Tuesday after the off day. Then he will begin throwing. Sounds like he’ll be out until we’re back home for the final three games against Colorado.
