  1. I would have never guessed we were leading the MLB in average or hits so far!
  2. It’s funny man. I saw this image and knew it was you without looking at the posts user name ?
  3. It’ll be that way forever if he just never walks and only hits singles ? How about 308/404/803? ?
  4. Also a thin stroke or unblured slight drop shadow in black around all the white lettering would probably unify everything and make it more legible.
  5. I’d put some Sox branding on it... send it to Brooks Boyer, and ask him if Jerry wants to buy it from you. ? Seriously.
  6. I’d buy two. Awesome. Only suggestion would be to somehow bring in the Sox logo.
  7. At least we selected James McCann in the 31st round! Too bad we didn’t take Charlie Blackmon or Garett Cole at the 8 slot instead of Beckham. ?
  8. He’ll just dump it into the hole in the outfield then. His bat handling skills are so elite he trains at Stonehenge during the off-season.

Kevin, hi! and - uh... I’m confused. Your “site” is nothing but a logo, a grey brick wall image, and a button link to a “homepage” which goes to the same place.
  10. How are things there nowadays, by the way?
  11. He’s just using the example of Schwarber to demonstrate that it’s actually pretty rare to draft contributing talent even in the first round as a sure thing... pointing out that he was ranked to go much later, in the late teens. Past some 1-1 and 1-2 guys in a lot of years... and even including them in others, the MLB draft is an educated crap shoot.
  12. A ~.400 career obp is a realistic CEILING. No one is saying that’s a guarantee or the most likely outcome like you’re seeking to assert.
  13. Look at the career of Luke Appling. That’s best cast for Madrigal. He hit only 45 Home runs in what... 20 years? He also hit over .300 and had a career obp of .399.
  14. Come on now, play nice fan with good taste in White Sox player lore.
  15. ~ denotes “about” in the context of the OBP. Could mean .350. Could mean .365. Could mean .400. Doesn't mean =
  16. Yea he’s not going to have numbers that low on either advanced stat line. He’s a high contact hitter and is going to have a high BABIP - take Billy Hamilton for example... very high BABIP but he doesn’t hit the ball in play much. Madrigal will hit the ball in play 9 out of 10 times... 3 of those 9 will find a hole and he’ll walk the other time. Carrer .300+ BABIP, .300+ ave, and ~.400 obp.
  17. Wish they’d pinch hit Collins here
  18. “But the exit velocity of madrigals three hits today have been really slow, he’s not going to be a good hitter.” ”He can’t keep that type of luck up.” ”what a wasted pick.”
  19. BABIP numbers for a hitter with his profile are not equal to those who hit for less contact. There are statistics that demonstrate his batting average should closely mirror his BABIP.
  20. Strangest double play in history?
  21. Gordon was always lacking fortitude but has humor. ?
  22. We only have 52 more games scheduled and who knows if they’ll even get played. It’s going to go by in a blink so enjoy each of them in any possible way, gang.
