  1. Dunn has two hit?? In one game???????????? Has Jesus returned???????
  2. With all the hope and promise of getting better in 2011 - we continue to get worse. I didn't think it was bleeping possible. YUCK
  3. It's safe to say that it's not happening today - gurrrrrrrr. I got all gitty early this morning when I saw Rocks post. Sad Panda.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 22, 2011 -> 06:52 AM) Who has the minor league contacts to know when a player is coming up? I heard a rumor that this may actually be happening. PLEASE!!!!!
  5. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jul 22, 2011 -> 07:12 AM) Alex Rios' .565 OPS is the worst amongst all qualified players in baseball this season. Per Rotoworld. Awesome. Nice!! We've got the worst batting average ever recorded since dinosaurs ruled the word AND the worst OPS. We rule at being double ungood.
  6. I think that by Wednesday the 27th - we'll be able to clearly see where the Sox stand. It's not looking good after the last three in KC thou. Hopefully they finally wake up - but my breath is not held.
  7. Imagine how embarrassing it would be to hit .158 and then have the team doctor call you in for an eye exam. LOL
  8. Bleeping bleep you bleep bleeping bleepers
  9. We do not want Butler up there with runners on and a game on the line. Get this man.
  10. Losing 2 out of 3 to the Royals in this fashion has to be one of the lowest points in a low flipping season. Edit: Man, even if they win - the offensive woes have to be to worst crap I've ever seen out of this team. Disgusting.
  11. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 20, 2011 -> 07:23 PM) sell off what? Rios and Dunn are the contracts that are destroying this team (And Peavy's) sell off the contracts that are actually helping the team, and keep the trash? this makes no sense. Selling parts is pure speculation on my part. Any of the following could be traded for some good young talent: Carlos Danks Buehrle Jackson Again, who knows what they'll do if they decide they aren't contenders. Hopefully it won't come to that but it isn't looking good.
  12. QUOTE (Real @ Jul 20, 2011 -> 07:15 PM) lol no. I think he's right. Word has it that the Sox upper management was using the first 12 games in the second half to evaluate if they're contenders or not. If we lose this one and a few of the next - I think a sell off is likely.
  13. Who started for the Royals today? Cy Young?? Oh, wait... that's right - every pitcher we face this year is Cy Young.
  14. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jul 19, 2011 -> 10:36 PM) Danny.F***ing.Duffy. First win for Duffy since what - 1991???
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 18, 2011 -> 11:10 AM) Because the Sox can't send him to the minors unless it's on a rehab stint unless he agrees to go to the minors or the Sox eat his entire contract. I'm guessing that Dunn would agree to a couple weeks down there. Might do him some good. It'll never happen thou. If this team continues winning series over the next 9 games - I don't expect many changes. However, if they go south - I'm guessing that a spot for Viciedo will be made, some starters will be dealt, some BP arms will be dealt, etc. That's much more realistic than sending Dunn to AAA but I bet he would agree to it and I bet it would do him good.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 18, 2011 -> 10:29 AM) So who goes to the minors for John Danks? Why not Dunn? See if he can get his swing back in AAA if he doesn't show any life over the next two series.
  17. Or we could just turn it around and start winning series against KC and MIN like we did with DET over the last 3 games.
  18. PAULIE - PAULIE - PAULIE!!!! LET'S GO! 2 RUN DOUBLE COMING UP? WE'LL SEE.
  19. Enjoy your trip! I had an amazing experience staying in the River North district with my pops - I'm sure that you'll have a wonderful time. Bring home some white sox winners!!
  20. If White Sox management feel they are in this and are real contenders after the next two weeks - chances are Edwin won't get moved.
  21. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 15, 2011 -> 03:36 PM) or he is planning on trading multiple starters in the next couple weeks. If we have a bad showing over the next 2 weeks - I wouldn't write this off as an option.
  22. Thinking about this a bit more - I wonder if this is insurance in the case should Peavy be unable to continue and a starter is dealt. Never know.
