haha, how f***ing awsome, you guys picked a chuck palahniuk book for your first reading cool idea about the book club too =P survivor is a great read, its been about 3 years since ive read it so its not to the front of my mind. my favriote book of palahniuk is by far, CHOKE.... that book will never leave me. im currently writing a book and dont want to read while im doing it, after i get the first draft out, ill join. s***, who knows, maybe it can be my book we read muhahaajasfhahhah!!! latest rumor from ESPN sportcenter/baseball tonight is: 3 way deal involving boston, the mets, and tampa bay boston gets: aubery huff mets gets: manny tb gets: ?? they just mentioned that buster oley confirmed that there is talks between the three teams and manny might be a met within the next 24 hours. they didnt go into it much, it was as they were closing up the show... just said they got word of it just now and more info will be forthcomming on BBTN later

only thing that i didnt like was that he said we are a "weak" team right now. that we have been "12 - 11" in our last 23 games. the reason we havent been playing good is that we havent been doing the little things that were winning us games early in the year. ex: podsedneck has been either thrown out stealing or picked of 4 out of his last 5 attempts. ex: making errors that have lead to unearned runs our defence and ability to manufacture runs was key to our early sucess, and those two things have been slumping as of late... we will get back to these fundamental issues and will go on another winning streak soon. however, yes... we do need to make some trades one thing i like that farry-ioty said was "KW has been an amazing GM since december and it is not time for him to step up, have JR spend some more cash, and get the other peices that will put them in an even better position to win in the post season" at least he was giving us some props.

heh - hence the picture of bill in your sig =P the depth of his stuff to me was one of the largest turn ons to his act.

bill hicks was one of the most talented stand up acts known to man. he passed away before he could see the comercial sucess he is now garnishing. compared to richard prior, lenny bruce, and andy kaufman by his peers bill hicks was adored by jay leno, brett butler, rodney dangerfield, john cleese, george carlin, and thom yorke of radiohead.. among many others. his acts were priceless, socialy aware, spiritually challanging, and at times... just down-right crude/ruthless. he was often found yealing and dancing around on the stage while cussing out his audiance. his own ammusement was, at times, more important then the audiances. if you havent heard of bill hicks and are a fan of comedy, i highly suggest you check out a dvd that was released last year. it has a pretty good documentry and 3 complete hick's shows. here is amazon.coms page for the dvd. its at most best buy locations as well. if you have already heard of bill hicks, you might be entralled with a new biography which was writen by two of his best life long "brothers" kevin booth and michael bertin here is the link: http://www.sacredcow.com/allnew/index_cont...=agent_preorder thanks for reading, hope you enjoy if you have heard of bill, please post something here about him. oh, and...
