Dunn in the clean-up spot. Epic.

Alright - bring it on Alexi... make up for your weak boner play last inning. We need to score flipping 10 runs off this AAA fodder. Edit: Ok then, Paulie - plate em both here!

We need to sweep these guys and it needs to start right NOW. Come on JP!

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 05:58 PM) Did you see the 2 inch foul ball that coulda been a double on the pitch before? Dude was due for some luck. He's hit two balls to the track in the last two days. It's nice to see some signs of life from him and I for one am hoping that he finally turns the corner here. We need him. NOW.

Funny... the announcer on the mlb.tv recap of the game said this after Dunn's fly ball was dropped: "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good." bawahaha

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 01:11 PM) 5-3 road trip to start the 2nd half. Could've been better, but it's a start. Sweep Detriot - then I'll be happy.

QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Jul 23, 2011 -> 11:57 PM) Good luck boys against Masterson. The guy was designed to stifle the Sox with that nasty sinker. Will Dayan Viciedo be in the house to play "Smack a Sinker"? Probably not, but one can hope. How great would this be for a change: LF Pierre SS A. Rameriz 1B Paul Konerko RF Carlos C AJ DH Dayan 3B Teahen 2B Beckham CF Rios -- Now there's a line we'll NEVER see. -- Forecast has thunder storms / rain starting at 10am and continuing all day / night tomorrow. Come on - I need me some Sox Ball!

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 24, 2011 -> 12:12 AM) Amen. That's what I was trying to say. Stupid reasoning to make that deal. Yep. A struggling offense doesn't need to send it's second most productive player packing in place of a prospect who has just a little track record of success. Ideal situation to me would be DFA Teahen, send Morel to AAA, or DFA Omar... Then have Dayan start sometimes in LF while Pierre moves to CF with Rios on the pine... DH Dayan sometimes with Dunn on the pine... LF Dayan with Pierre on the pine DH Q with Dunn on the pine and Dayan in RF Between those three situations - he should be able to get 20 AB's a week. I'm really curious as to how their going to make room for him on the roster because I don't see them sending Teahen, Morel, or Omar away. Maybe we've been seeing less of Morel because they're planning to send him down until September call ups? Who bleeping knows wft is going on. Just don't trade Viecedo or Q

I don't like not knowing what's going on Oh well, I guess sleep shall be had and information provided upon awakening.

I seriously hope we don't trade Q just to clear a spot for Dayan. That is the worst thing they could do.

Hummmmmm - dun dun dunnnnnnnnn FutureSox FutureSox.com Dayan Viciedo pulled after 6 innings in Charlotte... Is this finally it? 1 hour ago

flipping doh!

QUOTE (FlySox87 @ Jul 23, 2011 -> 05:47 PM) I meant WGN. I'm watching on WGN today for the first time in ages. Ohhhhh - Not sure... I think that they begin the broadcast. No worries if I was you.

QUOTE (FlySox87 @ Jul 23, 2011 -> 05:24 PM) I haven't watched the White Sox on WGN in forever (thank God for MLBTV). If the game gets a really late start tonight, will it still be broadcast as usual? How does that work? Yup - MLBTV works like normal when the delay is lifted and the feed goes live. I love it MLBTV + APPLETV = Bees Knees.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 23, 2011 -> 04:52 PM) They're expecting another big front to hit Cleveland soon. My uneducated prediction is an 8:45 CST first pitch. ahhh - thanks for the insight.

They're not giving any update regarding a start time on the radio or on TV there? The weather report says it's not raining.

Looks like it's time to open up the Trade Winds.

QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 23, 2011 -> 02:50 PM) http://twitter.com/#!/nickcafardo/stat...879415992983552 Red Sox scouting Jackson and Quentin. That would be interesting to see a trade while the White Sox are playing them. God, I'd hate to see both of them go to the Red Sox. It sure would be interesting to see a trade while they're playing each other - never seen two impact players traded and then play against their former team the next day.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 23, 2011 -> 11:56 AM) I'd have been more excited if the fly ball he hit late in the game got past the warning track. Hopefully he just squares it up better today - giving you that exact experience.

Very well done.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 22, 2011 -> 07:42 PM) There's one..need 4 of our next 5 Abso-freaking-loutly

QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 22, 2011 -> 07:23 PM) Where has Adam's power gone? He just got under it by like 3 freaking millimeters... If he hit that ball square - it would have been out by 30 feet.

Dunn has two hit?? In one game???????????? Has Jesus returned???????

With all the hope and promise of getting better in 2011 - we continue to get worse. I didn't think it was bleeping possible. YUCK
