we would be saving 12 million in that trade... coupled with the 8 from the lee trade... we all of a sudden would have 20 million to get a starter and a first baseman/2nd baseman/whatever will fill the offence hole hummmm? and burnett will be a monster

the biggest thing that shocks me about this is that KW accually traded Lee... KW as always had a huge hard on for Lee... this makes me believe something big is in the works

out of his only 2 full seasons one was great ( .300+, 45+ SB ) one season was OK (.250, 70 SB, 85 runs on a s***ty offensive club)... and you say he was a one year wonder? this guy has talent and could surpass all of your expectations and become a fan favriote.

about this pods guy... people are saying he CANT hit over .240? last year, yeh... he hit around there.. but the year before, he hit well over .300 if this pods kid can give us 50+ SB's, hit LEFT HANDED for around .300, and give us solid defence like lee gave us.... in addition to a 2B platoon guy that hit .325 against LHP (our big problem last year)... oh, and a great bullpen guy.... then trading LEE was a ok idea if we get all that... in addition to a really good starting pitcher.... then trading LEE was the s***!

it seems we got someone with speed from hell... a great 2b platoon vs LHP option... maybe a PTBNL.. and saved about 6 million to add to the 4 million we have left... meaning KW got all that and also has 10 million to go get another starter.... which im sure he will ill REALLY miss lee, but this trade just might work out to give us a few missing dynamics
