His issues at the plate preceded his injury. The groin happened during his rehab in the minors. I think last year and into this year, his swing needed some changes because he started hitting the ball into the ground at a might higher clip. Again - I see why Fuller would want to work with him.

They both were grade 1 issues and he is not considered to be fully healthy.

They’d probably maintain him through the offseason and if he doesn’t have a good spring, send him down to the minors. He has options.

When your injury zaps your defense it makes sense. I trust that their evaluation of him includes ensuring that he is fully healthy now.
