Wow...Great pictures there. I only went to old comiskey once. I am only 25 now, and I went when I was really little. My parents didn't have lots of money back then so I never got to go...we used to sit around as a family and watch the games. I went when i was 5 or 6 years old when the Brewers were in town. All I remember were the arches and Robin Yount hitting a home run. Thanks for sharing that...i've bookmarked it. Maybe one day we will see the "cell" (comiskey goddamnit) get torn down.

Damn I had tickets to the original game but couldn't go b/c I started paramedic school. I live on 24th too so it sucked ass to not go. The day the game was canceled it cleared up about 1/2 hour from the delay. total BS. I wish they would let me goto anther game or something. That money went down the tubes.

I was at the game today. When Darin Erstad made a catch in foul territory the runner on 1st tried to run to 2nd, or faked it, and Gavin was supposed to be covering the bag. He wasn't.......and it pissed me off. Sorry I don't have the names. I keep score at games, but I don't feel like going through it. What a cocktease in the ninth though---with f***ing Erstad K on looking. You gotta protect the plate with 2 strike. WTF. Oh well.
