It has to be put into perspective to really be explained, Greenwald does it best. And they also tend to blindly pick up the latest conservative meme (e.g. "death panels") and talk about them at face value. Sometimes you'll get one of them complaining that it ruins the news cycle that the "media" reports these things as if they forgot they were in the media.

That wasn't exactly where I was going with that Rex, but I was going to say something along the lines of "Rush Limbaugh is a multi-millionaire and Ann Coulter has several best-selling books, and it isn't an accident." There is a very large corporate conservative media presence, dare I say it qualifies as MAINSTREAM in and of itself.

Oh and I posted this in the catch-all but I think people who read this thread would get the joke better:

I was really unimpressed with the Blueprint 3. It just seemed boring and uninspired, like Jay ran out of s*** to talk about. Jay gets a free pass because he's Jay, and because everyone else sucks so bad compared to him even when he is meh. I said this on facebook and got called a hater. I'm like umm ok I don't really see how I'm "hating" when I own all of his CDs.

This happens at least once a week I'd say.
