  1. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 04:09 PM) There's a big difference between a 5 game series and a single elimination game. I'm not talking about the series, just that game. Even afterwards, Scoscia was quick to tell the press that the umpires were not to blame. A class act on his part to be sure.
  2. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 04:09 PM) When it gets to OT the Steelers will call tails, and it will be a 2 headed coin. I'm thinking it will be more like that overtime Thanksgiving game the Steelers were unfortunately a part of.
  3. Well if there are no more bad calls and the Steelers lose, the players and coaches won't be blaming the officials. Just like Eddings gave the White Sox an extra chance, the officials gave the Colts an extra chance. It's horrible, but Crede still had to hit off Escobar and the Colts still have to drive here.
  4. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 04:03 PM) You were saying? They won't make a habit of passing.
  5. Colts D hasn't shown much against the run all day. It's all on them now to get the ball back. I don't think Pittsburgh will pass.
  6. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:58 PM) I almost want the Colts to win now just because of the controversy it will cause. This just got real interesting. I would if it were the ALCS but this is a one and done deal. Hopefully they earn this win with an onside kick or something.
  7. You gotta love the Peyton commercial right after he throws the season-ending interception.
  8. I just want to say what a pleasure it is to moderate this forum. I must say it pretty much moderates itself.
  9. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 03:44 PM) They went to the well once too often. It's the Steelers, I don't expect them to attempt another pass the rest of the game.
  10. I don't think they got it. Edit: Wow, that sucks the life out of the crowd.
  11. Technically, you can't call offsides if the ball is not snapped. It should be encroachment if a Colt touched a Steeler.
  12. Well this just got slightly more interesting. Dungy has always been conservative, and I'm sure he trusts Manning's decisions with regard to the offense. Television probably made that look like a lot bigger deal than it was on the sidelines.
  13. Now that's drama. If the Colts rally here, I imagine we'll be hearing about that 4th down for a while.
  14. If I were a betting man, Panthers +3 would sure look like a steal to me.
  15. I'm rooting for the Colts. A franchise deserves some success every once in a while.
  16. Indy will be lucky to finish the quarter with positive total yards.
  17. There was this kid in my High School physics class six years ago who was a huge Cubs fan. He was a recent immigrant to this country yet was quickly consumed by suburban Cubbie Kool-Aid. He had this thick Indian accent and we would always argue about the Cubs vs. Sox. In every argument, he had this one unforgettable line, "Kerry Vood is the future." Now, I'm sure he meant it differently, but that is true for the Cubs in so many ways. For reference, in 1999 the Cubs started the season 32-23 and looked on their way to a second straight playoff appearance before a disappointing summer including a dismal 6-24 August ended their hopes and left them with a 67-95 record. A meteoric rise and fall that began with so much promise like the career of one Kerry 'Vood'.
  18. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jan 13, 2006 -> 03:05 PM) Shouldn't it be: http://www.onepeat.com/ Actually it's http://www.1peat.com
  19. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 14, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) CNN podcast usually. Gage should do an FS/ST one. Skype makes it really easy to get player or other interviews too. I think that would be awesome if he has the time to pull it off.
