Los Angeles @ Chicago - ALCS Game 1
QUOTE(santo=dorf_2005 @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 12:53 AM) Does anyone have any odds for this series, just for entertaining purposes only? They haven't been updated since game 5 ended but the Sox made a significant jump (of course) in odds to win the World Series after their sweep of Boston. Most places today had us slightly behind St. Louis in odds to win it all.

Los Angeles @ Chicago - ALCS Game 1
Come on now, is this the face of someone who can't make up his mind?

Houston vs. Atlanta
Nearly two full games have been played. The position players look dead tired. Edit: Ballgame.

Angels @ Yanks
The Yankees defense is bad.

Forget them all
We beat Jon Olerud!! That was a major monkey on our backs. If the Angels come to the ALCS, will there be talk of a West Coast curse? We played ok there this year if you don't count Oakland.

Orlando's Sixth Sense
I enjoyed the article as well, but how did Olney get all those quotes from Pierz and El Duque?

Frank's interview with Bruce Levine
Frank sounded like the guy from the old Micro Machines commercials in that interview. Good find though, I especially liked "When the Sox win, I win."

AND THATS A WHITE SOX PLAYOFF WINNER
Whatever else happens, I will be able to watch highlights of these past two weeks of baseball and smile for a very long time.

MVP?
This team is so great I can't bring myself to vote for just one MVP. If I did vote, I guess AJ would be a good pick.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX PLAYOFF WINNER
Duque is pimpin it with his cigar at the podium.

Since we won...
At least it was consistent for both teams until it started widening later on. The worst part was how slow Wegner was to raise his arm to signal the call.

Who should start?
What about offensively? 2000 Offense scores 7 runs and gets swept. 2005 Offense scores 24 runs and sweeps!!

QUOTE(bigred3535 @ Oct 7, 2005 -> 06:41 PM) I'm thinking we should go with the man with big game experience...he's started Game 1 before and I think you all know who I'm talking about. Jim "Butter" Parque Count no doubt.
