Piniella may choose booth over dugout in 2006
He seems a little uncomfortable wearing a suit and his voice sounded shaky at times. Sort of like a young Darrin Jackson. I think he'd be better in a two-man booth somewhere as the color guy because it sounded like he had alot more to say.

NLCS game 5
2 good pitchers going but these offenses do both appear to be struggling as well. Nice play by Molina to keep the game scoreless.

World Series Tickets go onsale Tues
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 01:24 AM) What can be more important? Explain yourself! Birth of a child? Death in the family? I can't think of much else.

no angels comments?
Sweeping three games in their house should do a lot to quiet the "controversial" call of game 2. Angels fans will always remember but nationally it should become a much smaller part of the story.

hats off sox pitching
They deserve more than my hat. I guess I can give them the shirt off my back too. Maybe some pants if they're interested. So how many pitchers will be on the World Series roster? 5 or 6?

Batgirl calls us "White Sox"
There was more to this saying she might call us the "White Sox" again if we win it all but that appears to have been edited out. Still a classy move and nice to get some respect from the competition that has beaten our butts the past 3-4 seasons.

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 5
Vlad's offensive struggles seem to be carrying over to his defense and wow we are 3 outs away...

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 5
Please somehow get Crede to bat this inning off Escobar.

I'll be damned!!!
One more win and Joe Crede might get his name on a T-shirt!!

oh my god
At least once every hour or so, I think of the White Sox and just begin to smile. Whether they win it all or not, I will be a little sad once the season is over.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX PLAYOFF WINNER
I don't think it's fully sunken in yet just what this year means to me as a Sox fan. It's almost surreal right now.

NLCS Game 2
Oswalt pitching his ass off so far. He's thrown a ton of pitches (mostly fastballs) and isn't backing down from the Cardinal hitters.

Game 7
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 08:51 PM) Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Freddy own the Angels? His career numbers look pretty good but they knocked him around a bit last time out.

The Cry for Instant replay in MLB Games
I think fair v. foul on home runs and fan interference on homeruns should be the only plays where replay is used. Especially during the regular season, umpires usually are hundreds of feet away from the ball they are making a call on. Other than that, I think the human error of umpires has always been an acceptable part of umpires that might give a team an extra out or baserunner.

Bartman redeems himself
"almost 3 years"? Why not just say exactly two years?
-
They should pull that ump.. Because....
If he makes a call like that against the Sox, there will be about 40,000 William Ligues that have something to say about it.

Where Sciocia really screwed up
QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Oct 13, 2005 -> 12:44 PM) Plus Escobar had Crede, who was hitting .111 in the postseason, in an 0-2 count and he threw a down the middle fastball instead of the splitter that no one was hitting. From what I've read it was a hanging splitter. You can see Paul before the pitch setting a very low target which makes sense considering what Escobar had done to every other batter he had faced.

Sox @ Angels - ALCS Game 3
With Santana starting game 4, we might wanna think about winning game 3 and not putting ourselves back in the hole.

Sox fan says "wake up homers"!
If AJ runs to first without a throw and the ump says "No, you're out," I don't think anybody gives it a second thought.
